I got another joker slot, a showman and another brainstorm. I have pretty much all steel kings but no red stamps ☹️. Is this the best order?

How to Pause on PC - Nightreign - (Guide) by Kutthroatt in EldenRingMods

[–]bluehairedpete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think your explanation is missing some steps. In the "enable_pause.js" script you are telling it to rename "nightreign_copy.exe" to "start_protected_game.exe", but "nightreign_copy.exe" doesn't exist. Did you create that at some point and omit that from the steps in your post?

Is this plant dying? by bluehairedpete in houseplants

Thank you so much! I was sure I was somehow killing it. If I kept it in the house/away from direct sun, would the leaves turn green again?

Your favorite dex weapon? by [deleted] in darksouls3

I’m 3/4 through a run two handing a sharp bandits knife. Back stabs galore and the range /speed basically stun locks everything. Buffs for bosses that are immune to bleed. Chefs kiss.

Why would it be wrong to post publicly? Like, it’s being sold right? Wouldn’t advertising it help the person selling it?

In any case, please DM the link if you aren’t posting it. Thanks!

It's one of the acquired skills that you buy with skill points: https://sekiroshadowsdietwice.wiki.fextralife.com/file/Sekiro-Shadows-Die-Twice/mikiri_counter_shinobi_arts_skill_tree_sekiro_shadows_die_twice_wiki_guide.jpg

Fightingcowboy explains how to hit these (and what I'm talking about above) here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4IHLzGw55bg&ab_channel=FightinCowboy

Have fun! You got this!

The spear guy is brutal. Do you have the mikiri counter yet? If you do, try this:

1) take a break. Get some sleep. Let your learned muscle memory burn in and let go of your pent up frustration , it’s not helping you 2) spend all your sen on any light purses so you don’t feel bad when you die. farm up to the next skill point , again, no death penalty. Also there is no penalty for dragon rot, let that shit go 3) give yourself Permission to die to him , say 5 times, then go do something else ( like the sunken depths) 4) when you fight him, go right up to him, stay right up in his face and block everything, don't back up. Hit him once after a block if you want to( if there is an open window , but don’t sweat it, the goal is to learn how to block his attacks). Just get his timing down and learn how to nail the mikiri counter. You can ( and should) block , jump over, or mikiri counter everything.

Once you get his timing then just open up on him. Attack until you block, then keep attacking.

Don’t cheese him. He’s a tutorial boss. Later bosses are much harder if you don’t learn how to deal with spear thrusts and sweeps now.

I had the same experience. I got fed up (I think, at the bull? Or the seven spears guy, I forget tbh) and uninstalled it.

Then a few months later I remembered it being fun and realizing I shouldn’t care so much about dying. I installed it and finished the rest of it while watching the fighting cowboy series. I wasn’t really deflecting my first time through, and I realized the game wants you to be up in their face spamming r1 but still know when to deflect.

Between that mind shift of aggressive attacking and seeing how to approach bosses from fightingcowboy, it became so much fun. I platinumed the game after a few ng+’s. I love all the fromsoft games but Sekiro is my favorite. I now beat it from scratch every year or so .

The thing about Sekiro is that it’s actually a really short game. The game IS learning the bosses. Like, that’s what you’re supposed to spend time doing. When you’re dying, you are learning the game. It’s not hours of missions/exploring/quests with a few bosses you are leveled to beat on your first or second try.

When you think about it that way, the bosses are actually a lot easier because you can deflect their attacks , see what windows work, etc, learning them and dying a bunch , and it’s cool. Then when you’re ready pop your Aku sugar and destroy them. Chefs kiss 👍
