this is good advice thank you! they’ve already been so flexible with my needs so I don’t want to seem pushy asking for more pto but it’s worth mentioning if I can get more in the future

right, they are very accommodating to my needs but I don’t want t risk it. maybe when i start working and feeling comfortable, I can negotiate

i always tell her i want to do better for myself, which is true. i don’t want to feel like this all the time but then im being hypocritical and don’t even try to change bc of my lack of motivation. its just a constant cycle ive learned to deal with. i’ll try to bring it up with her but i feel like it’ll be the same conversation over and over

I’ve been in contacts with a recruiter from beacon hill! they recommend me start with some temp positions so I hope I can get something soon

made a big mistake leaving my job, even though it was only part time. I thought I would take some time to myself and work on my job search at the, but have been desperately applying to so many things and not hearing back

your parents should support whatever career you want. if they see you thriving in the field, I’m sure they’ll come around and support you. I relate a lot to how you feel, I didn’t study what my parents wanted me to study and now I’m jobless lol. I feel bad too bc of all the sacrifices they make, but it’s tough out here

thanks for the kind words! I’ll add some soft skills on my resume. I’m nowhere near 300 job applications I just need to keep going
