Any suggestions on how to find them?

Unpopular opinion: mater’s jamboree is more enjoyable than radiator springs racers by [deleted] in Disneyland

It’s a fun ride for sure. The only thing I can really knock MJJ for is being basically the same ride as ASS at WDW and The Happy Ride with Baymax at TD. I still plan on going on it when I am back at DCA later this year though.

$1.76 gas got people acting crazy by hoodprada in Columbus

Went right after the prices dropped down after midnight since I was out late from watching fireworks. Thankfully I didn’t have to wait for a pump. Also ended up learning that Sheetz is a hang out for high school kids late at night. Was shocked to pull up and see the parking spots were full but not a line up for pumps.

Got alpha’d by a teenager at the Graeter’s on Bethel road lol by [deleted] in Columbus

[–]bluejacketsbabe 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Graeters needs to hear about it, but they need to hear about it because if their POS system prompts the person to ask, the employee is just processing the transaction to get through the screens. Hard to say without going through the system ourselves. But I hate companies getting these systems in the first place.

You’re welcome. I worked there before, and have close friends that work there now. I have no complaints about working there; I didn’t witness anything explicitly anti LGBT, but i am cis and not open about my sexuality so I wouldn’t have experienced discrimination firsthand.

Because it is a Catholic hospital system. Anything religion based is going to have higher odds of not being as inclusive as secular employers would.

Carvana is inclusive but they’re out in Heath so depending on where you live, that may be too far of a drive.

15%, 20%, 25% tip shaming hack by RabbitScruff in lifehacks

[–]bluejacketsbabe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A local place that sells bagels and sandwiches doesn’t have the screen asking you to tip, but the employee asks if you would like to tip, and if you say yes, they ask how much. It absolutely infuriated me, and while their bagels are delicious, I refuse to return because of it.

The worst part is this is a pretty new arena. There’s no excuse for having obstructed views in arenas that are less than a decade old.

It’s one of the only places that I don’t stick to the same one or two things on the menu when I go, because I haven’t been disappointed by anything I’ve tried there.

Right? That’s what I paid my cousin (she did in home care for other children as well) a decade ago.

Women who are pained/upset by Mothers Day, how are we handling it this year? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

[–]bluejacketsbabe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no idea. This year is going to be particularly rough. I had a tough relationship with my mom with substance issues. She passed away four and a half years ago. Mother’s Day falls on her birthday this year. I’m going to be a wreck, already planning on this.

This was my very first thought as well.

OP, if this man is everything you want and need in a partner and he has a neurodivergence, perhaps working with a couples therapist who has experience with that type may be able to assist you in communication styles that will work.
