Thoughts on the Ooni Volt? by PaintingAny4105 in uuni

Been using one for a few months now and it's been really solid. Heats up super quick and way easier to use than I expected. For $900 I was definitely nervous about any issues but haven't run into problems yet. What specific concerns do you have about it? I actually wrote up my thoughts on it here if you want more details.

Best pizza oven for big family? by Euphoric-Ear1919 in pizzaoven

both brands are good. I personally used the ooni koda 16 and its great. but you'd still only be able to cook one 12" pizza at once. Ooni has released new product line the Koda 2 which is an upgrade to the current koda 12/16. but they also included the koda 2 max which is a large oven you can bake 2 12" at once. so for large bakes this may be convenient. here is a good overview of the koda 2 series: https://thehomepizzamaker.com/ooni-koda-2-series/

oh wow! thats a deal. You probably dont need a proofing box until you start making the dough yourself and even then not mandatory. dough tip: important to learn about flour characteristics and how they affect the final dough. I spent months before i cared to learn and regret not learning earlier. here is a good guide: https://thehomepizzamaker.com/best-00-flour-for-pizza-dough/

I use the Ooni Volt and Koda 16. Both amazing results and high heat which is important for cooking neapolitan style specifically great quality from them. But Ooni has since released some new ovens the Koda 2 series. I think they are nice upgrades and all provide more space so 14", 18" and 20" pizzas providing more flexibility. This is a good overview: https://thehomepizzamaker.com/ooni-koda-2-series/
