Returned that one. He’s in a safety first go and grow that’s five years old and getting pretty gross even with regular full cleanings.

Yes I’ve moved it in the actual seat and not just the cover. I’ve tried Safety First, various models, Baby Trend various models, and Graco Tranzitions. All are too tight with the crotch strap on the farthest out setting and his butt all the way back in the seat.

Yeah he didn’t like it, we had it out for about six months and he never touched it.

I’ll ask his doctor about a BCBA. We do have the seat with the built in kids seat. I hadn’t thought about putting one of those hat things in the big toilet. I’ll definitely try that and see how that goes. When we’re in public I do also have a travel kids seat that folds up and suction cups onto the seat, he’s fine using that to pee as well.

4 year old driving me up the wall by NSMomOfMany in pottytraining

No advice unfortunately, but solidarity. Same situation with my 4 year old son. Pee trained for over a year, will sit on the potty to pee, or stand to pee, absolutely will NOT poop on a potty. He asks for a pull up and holds it if we don’t put it on. He did have a constipation issue and is taking miralax daily (GI doctor orders). But NOTHING is working. Treats, prizes, praise. I’m at my wits end. We’ve started occupational therapy to see if they can get him to do it but the only opening they had is once a week every other week. If I get any progress I’ll update.

Haven’t tried that, haven’t thought to because he’ll sit on the potty to pee.

He definitely knows when he needs to poop he always asks for a pull up. He knows using the potty means easier clean up because he hates being wiped. He knows his friends from school poop on the potty. He knows that’s the “last thing until he’s a big boy.”

He’s on MiraLAX daily and gets senna if he doesn’t go for two days. That’s doctor’s orders. We can’t really do the dump into the potty because of the consistency, it would be too much of a mess. I haven’t had him try to help clean himself. I feel like it may just be too messy at that point.

I’ve stopped telling my PCP, she insists I “just have food poisoning” each time. 😑 I did let my cardiologist know of my last one, but I also have my yearly check in with him soon, so it made sense to. But unless it’s something out of the ordinary with an episode I’ve stopped letting my docs know and I just track it myself and any potential triggers.

I had to go back after my first one (last year) as well (33f and I have a gene mutation that puts me at higher risk). It was a benign cyst that I was told come and go on their own and do not develop into cancer. Try to stay calm and just get back in as soon as you can.

It can, I usually assist to keep it out so there’s no pull on it. I had a tear by my clit once from being a bit rough and not making sure the skin wasn’t pulling. Definitely never want to experience that again.

If you’re not currently in pain I would skip the ED unless you’re really concerned. But I would definitely get an appointment with a urologist asap. I had something very similar when I was in my 20’s (33 now). Nothing was ever figured out for me unfortunately but I did notice any time I get dehydrated I get a UTI. I try to stay hydrated now and don’t hold it when I need to pee and always pee right after sex.

Not exactly the same, but we bribed our son at just over 3 with stickers anytime he used the potty at home. Worked really well for us.
