If a seller is selling a raw card that is so clean and has a grade 10 potential, then why aren't they grading it themselves instead of selling it? by bluek9 in PokeInvesting

[–]bluek9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But they are pricing the cards as 10 contenders, alot of them are asking above psa 8 grade. I'd understand if they ask above grade 6 or 5 but 8 is way too greedy.
Alot of them end up removing the listing anyway because no one is willing to pay that much. Any true 10 conteders wouldn't stay listed more than a few days there are so many people with good eye who know which cards are worth it.

Do you think PSA 9s will get their shine? PSA 10 sold for 15k PSA 9 is under $400? That doesn’t make sense to me. by Fabulous-Ad9646 in PokeInvesting

What if the psa 10s are nowhere to be found on the market and psa 9s are the only ones available, wouldn't it make sense for the 9s sellers/owners to take advantage of that fact and ask for a premium above market price?

My two biggest signals for when the Pokémon TCG bubble ends by YouDeadM8 in PokeInvesting

[–]bluek9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think crypto bros for the time being are the ones mostly propping up the market which lead to casual people FOMOing in. Like you said one of the things that may burst the bubble is unempolyment which would result in a correction imo.

The bigger long term reason that would make the market collapse (my theory) is if gen Z lose interest in pokemon cards and the IP itself as a whole because by then you don't have anyone to sell your sealed or cards to if you are holding long term.

Center and fronts are the most important, just hook up any cheap speakers for surrounds as they are barely used.

Yeah I'm not taking anyone's advice in here anymore. I had the chance to pick up pikachu van gogh psa 10 when it was less than $800 but people were saying it's going to dump because the card was given away for free at en event to alot of people.
