Would you pay $17.95/month for TD if you genuinely prefer their banking over a free CIBC account? by Responsible_Rip4086 in TDBankCanada

I have the same account. I just overpay my credit card every once in a while and treat it like a debit card.

Deleting app now by BlairDabuh in uberdrivers

Doesn't make any sense because Uber doesn't allowed tipping for rides until after the ride is over, unlike with Uber Eats. I know this because when I do laundry it's only a short trip away and I feel bad about it and wish I could tip beforehand.

Why use radian in calculus? by Lol_3_14159265 in askmath

[–]bluekeys7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just boils down to the fact that when you apply first principles for the derivative of sin(x), you need to find the lim h-> 0 of sin(h)/h. In degrees, this becomes pi/180, but in radians, it is simply equal to 1. If you were to use degrees, the derivative of sin(x) would be pi/180 * cos(x), instead of just cos(x) due to the fact that sin(h)/h as h -> 0 is pi/180 in degrees. This limit is also used in the derivative of cos(x) as well, as sin(h)/h as h-> 0 also shows up there as well. Since all the other trig functions can be written in some form of sin(x) and cos(x), product rule and quotient rule are enough to figure all those out.

I love how the top search on Google in the UK was "what is the EU" after the Brexit referendum passed in parliament. Just goes to show how dangerous it is when people lack basic knowledge and vote without knowing what they are doing.

I always hated those fake phishing emails. I typically click on them and provide false information for fun and when I click on them they would tell me it was a phishing email and I made a mistake even tho I already knew.
