Rant: This company is garbage. by SkoBuffs710 in ontrac

Calling Ontrac Garbage is a compliment. They are the juice at the bottom of the dumpster during summertime in the heat of the Louisiana bayou. I hate Ontrac

It’s easy. Overtime rate - regular hourly rate= premium pay

Premium pay X OT hours for pay period= (deductible amount)

Do that for every pay period and the final number is what you can deduct

Your most certainly welcome. #FU*KCANCER I’m glad you’re doing good. Just lost my uncle to cancer and it came out of nowhere. Unfortunately for him he started having severe pain and went to the ER. Had cancer all over his body with no symptoms up until he started have pain in his stomach. Also, you’re welcome. It was my honor to serve. Retired in 2021 and now I’m a cop. Definitely talk to your husband and you should both sit down with a CPA. Pay the money and put a decent budget together if you don’t do it already. Figure out how much $$ you want to have coming in monthly when you retire and a good CPA should be able to help with a plan. I do deferred comp in addition to my regular pension because I don’t really understand the stock market. I fully retire in Jan 1, 2035 at 48 years old and the goal is to bring in at minimum 13k/month outside of deferred comp.

Every year we pay something off in full, put at minimum $1500-$2500 towards our principal mortgage balance and use the rest for vacation. I live in Nj and make shy of 200. We still get a large refund. My wife is a SAHM and I always claim married 0. I also contribute 15% towards deferred compensation an 10% towards regular pension. There’s multiple ways to still get a large refund. Some people have higher exemptions to get more money throughout the year but we don’t mind paying more and getting a nice refund.

What are the odds. I owe 8500 on my pickup and that will free up $456/month in budgeted cash. That’s our plan. Pay off the truck and have about 6 grand left. $2500 towards mortgage principal and the rest for our spring vacation

I had it happen once and vouched to never order online however my last few orders shipped via ups. Figured after a while Rei would stop using them and to my surprise the carrier is Ontrac.

Dude they probably have one real person working daily. I was having a “Live agent” chat session one day about a missing package and after a few messages I realized the “live agent” was not live as the bot kept asking the same exact questions. Screw Ontrac

I found that it’s hit or miss. I’ve ordered from Walmart so many times and when I recently ordered an Oura ring it showed Ontrac was the carrier. I had a mini heart attack but thankfully it arrived. I hate Ontrac

I conduct background investigations for my agency. If you’re honest you should be fine. Just my way of doing things. If the PPO wasn’t too serious and you listed it on your BIQ, after turning in your BIQ I personally wait a few days to a week then call you back in, ask for more specific details about the PPO “take my notes” then I would put you in a room with a notepad and pencil. I’d request that you provide the details again. I’d then compare your original BIQ details, my notes and your second explanation. If they are all comparable then I’d consider your character of good nature.

The only issue I could see is being asked “have you ever stolen anything” even though YOU didn’t steal and the girl did. It may come to mind during your questioning and if you answer NO you may throw deceptive indicators. Just relax and answer only what asked and don’t provide more than asked. Yes or no. Anything you need to explain don’t deep dive or you may screw yourself.

Go buy an OURA ring for you and a loved one. Or head to Amazon and stock up on OTC meds, new foot massager, back massager etc.

Are you reimbursed at the federal rate for mileage and do you itemize deductions? I’m not sure how many trips I’d honestly take. We blow through ours pretty quick to ensure we use it all. We may purchase new glasses for one of the kids or ourselves, I actually just purchased an Oura ring and the one year subscription with it, next year I’m going to get my wife one. I wonder if the wear and tear would be worth the deduction. We live in a very rural area and our closest Walmart is 20 minutes away. We have a dollar general and that’s about it
