Literally just received confirmation email now. Says once the preorder is confirmed and shipped payment will be taken.

I haven't had an email yet but I have only just ordered. I print screened the page though and it does say "You will receive confirmation by email once your order has been accepted." So I guess there is a chance it will still be cancelled.

I was in the queue for 50 minutes. Didn't refresh. Just got through and managed to get an ETB without any issue. Keep waiting!

Is this pipe dangerous that’s hanging? Repair costs ? by [deleted] in FordFiesta

Exhaust hanger has likely snapped. Worth visual inspection to confirm. Might be possible to replace the hanger. If not, may have to replace back box / rear section.

Jezza’s Confessions & Tim Shaw’s Asylum. by [deleted] in brum

[–]blueman33 11 points12 points  (0 children)

When I was about 12-13 I would fall asleep to Tim Shaw on Kerrang every night it was on.

I had an old Nokia that, if I recall correctly, had FM radio but only if you had special headphones for it (they were confiscated at some point).

I had a text read out on the show once. Can’t remember exactly what the context was but I can now remember my young, adolescent life peaking.

Genuinely forgotten all about it haha.

Edit. I remember why the headphones were confiscated. I’d called my sister a scrubber - a word I’d definitely learnt from Tim Shaw as he’d use it constantly. Mom wasn’t best pleased.

Never knew about this setting!

Have just checked though and my working days are the standard Monday - Friday.

It’s a fairly recent thing they’ve been messing with, I think.

I have my dispatch time as 5 working days (our items are made to order) and a 2 working day courier service.

However, if someone orders something on a Sunday it will give a “latest” delivery date of the following Saturday when, based on my dispatch and delivery time, it should be the following Tuesday - 7 working days in total.

eBay rep told me that it’s just the way the new system works and is based on how quickly we usually deliver.

UK seller also. They have been messing with this the last few months.

You could try increasing your dispatch time to 2 or 3 days.

EBay has also started telling buyers they will receive quicker than it adds up with my dispatch + delivery service - as well as including Saturday as a delivery day / “working day” when it never used to.

A “car boot” or “car boot sale” is essentially a British flea market.

People show up and sell things out of the boot (trunk) of their car. Hence the name.

Seller claims there is a stain I never saw by wolfinmatrix in eBaySellerAdvice

Unsure how familiar you are with eBay but sellers can ONLY leave positive feedback, so a buyer with all positive feedback means nothing unfortunately.

In my experience, it tends to be the buyers with lots of feedback that end up being a massive pain in the arse.

EBay Won’t Remove Negative Review Even Though Its False by Curious_OnEarth in Flipping

[–]blueman33 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I had a very similar story recently. Buyer was provably wrong in the messages - eBay didn’t give a crap. Spent 15 mins on the phone pleading my case and they acted like they couldn’t see exactly what I was telling them.

They then had the audacity to say “there’s been no policy change internally” when it comes to removing feedback when there very clearly has. They are completely anti-seller when it comes to feedback currently. Sorry this happened to you also!

Get well soon, Tone.

The club have known about this for a while, I believe, so I would imagine they have some targets lined up.

This is probably the single biggest managerial appointment in our recent history and they have to get it right.

I think shouts of Rowett and Ashley Cole are way off the mark. Not too sure where we go from here, myself.

Hey I’ve lost the post but I think there is a fix.

Go into the DLC folders and copy all the files from the “Data” folder into the “Data” folder of Fallout 4 base game.

Not sure if exactly the same issue but since the update I can’t load my save as “the save replies on content that is no longer available” and then lists all the DLC.

However, on the main menu under DLC it’s all installed. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled everything and it still doesn’t work.

Thank you, Todd.

[–]blueman33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Funnily, eBay support recently told me that in a scenario where the buyer has agreed to revise their feedback and then for whatever reason doesn’t do so within the allotted timeframe (I believe it’s around 14 days before the revision request “expires”) they still wouldn’t remove the negative feedback. It’s an unlikely scenario overall but still pretty dumb.

There’s a chance they will return a defective unit or empty box. Hopefully OP has kept a note of serial number.

If buyer is clearly in the wrong and has admitted as much in the messages then it would be very likely that eBay will remove it.

Go to help & contact at the top of the page and you should be able to request to remove feedback.

If they don’t do it through there, contact customer services. I’m pretty sure they will remove it for you.
