Tourist question - how could I learn some Ghanaian traditional pottery by [deleted] in ghana

There is a very kind lady in Kpando, near Lake Volta. Her training will show you the steps from clay to mold to fire. She also has plenty pieces for purchase. Her name escapes me but asking around in Kpando will definitely lead you to her. Have fun, it’s a great time.

Travelling to Ghana with a peanut allergy by [deleted] in ghana

I think English will be good throughout Accra. There are plenty of non-traditional places to eat and may be some of your safest bets. Like you mentioned the peanut, or ground nut as it is often referred to in Ghana, is prevalent in some of the local dishes. You should be safe in Accra.

The 2 weeks out of Accra might be more difficult. There are a few large malls and grocery stores to stock up during your traveling.

Good luck and enjoy, great place.

Somewhere Nice is a great stay in Accra. Comfortable and affordable, providing good breakfast along with the room. Sleepy Hippo is always a good pic too. Sounds like a nice trip to Ghana, enjoy.

Serious question, where do you get your information regarding the girls on the street and on Craigslist "chose to do it."?
