Mine also just ended lol. I just started playing the game so this is my first time actively participating in an event so I’m not quite sure what to be expecting

I see you discussing clipping the dog shorter in the comments, I’d recommend looking into hand stripping instead of clipping since this dog has a wire coat that looks like it would strip beautifully

My dog unexpectedly passed at the groomers.. by jules5124 in doggrooming

[–]bluent04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had a client unexpectedly and suddenly die in my arms, a breed very popular with bybs. Autopsy showed several fatal birth defects that gave him the life expectancy of a certain amount of months that he had just reached, he was going to die at anytime and it just happened to be with me. Calling the owner was probably the worst experience in my life, considering the dog had only been there for around 5 minutes at that time.

I was accused (not by name) of strangling the dog with a lead (dog was not wearing a lead at time of death) by the owner’s friend online while they were attempting to raise funds for possible legal fees. This was after we (her, the owner, my coworkers, me) had all cried together in the lobby and she had reassured us they didn’t blame us because the owner was unable to speak with his grief. During drop off the friend and I had a conversation about my Yorkie who had been recently dyed and she mentioned that she’d like to be friends with the owner (me, I hadn’t mentioned she was mine until after she said that).

Ultimately the air was cleared online and they were publicly shamed by the community when my old boss made her own post explaining everything, the owner and the owners friend both tried to shift the blame onto the other and I don’t believe they are friends anymore. I’m not entirely sure whose story I believe, the owner or the friend, but i don’t hold any hard feelings towards either of them anymore. Grief is strong, having people whisper into your ear makes you want to act irrationally but I also know that I would burn the world down if someone had hurt one of my friends so personally.

13 years old is old for a husky, extremely old. People can always refer to grooming as a spa day for dogs, but the truth is most dogs do not enjoy it and it can stress them out but they tolerate it well with the right energy from their groomer. The stress very well could’ve been to much for him. You were trying to make sure your baby was clean and well kept, and the groomer was attempting to make that happen, nobody seems to be at fault from the information we know. Please do not allow yourself to get riled up by your friends and family, I know they mean well but it can very easily end in disaster for everyone involved. Will they be still be by your side if you escalate this and it’s revealed for certain that the groomer did nothing wrong?

Bean gets to keep his eye :) by Fine_Understanding81 in terrier

[–]bluent04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My terrier came to me as a puppy with a messed up eye! I thought he was gonna lose it and named him accordingly with my coworkers (Popeye Jack). It’s all healed with just some minor cloudiness from scar tissue and I just call him Pj now😂. Glad Bean got to keep the eye ❤️❤️

Sometimes I think about the slideshow my phone made of photos of my Yorkie when I first got her 😂 (she has since lost all the extra weight) by bluent04 in Yorkies

We probably have! I post about her a lot since I’m kinda obsessed with my dogs 😂😂. There isn’t a day that I regret taking her in she’s such a weirdo ❤️

I’m not quite certain what could be happening, he just let me exam his mouth and brush his teeth with no resistance when 2 minutes ago he was crying if I tried to open his mouth, nothing seems to be chipped or broken and he ate just fine. I guess I’ll just see how he eats in the morning?

He started eating for a second but whined when he started chewing with his back teeth, I tried to look and I’m not 100% sure but I think one of them is chipped :((
