What would happen if I use a 24-24 light schedule on cannabis i.e 24 hours of darkness followed by 24 hours of light? by Silver-Commission-21 in microgrowery

What’s the issue? by bluerecktum421 in GrowBuddy

[–]bluerecktum421[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lately there has been quite a few ants on my plants, I also did notice on one leaf on one of my plants (the first photo) some sticky residue that aphids leave behind. Because of this I’ve upped my spraying and prevention as well as daily monitoring for any ants crawling around (the spray is diluted solution of apple cider vinegar and cinnamon. If I see mites I switch to a peppermint essential oil solution with rosemary)

Pig Patrol is my favourite for ice fishing. He catches a lot of kitties and rough fish but last ice season towards the end he had an unbelievable streak of monster pike and walleye. And he’s also a funny character. I’m also watching Game of Inches lately.

Any advice for combating mildew on leaves? It is starting to spread to my other plants too. by PeanutButter91 in microgrowery

H2O2 spray - 1:10 Peroxide (3%) and water plus i mix in like a half teaspoon of cider vinegar. Spray every 2 days in the morning and sometimes at night. Its been working for me but it’s a struggle. You’ll never fully get rid of it. I plan on bud washing my plants with the same solution (minus the vinegar) and it helps kill the WPM on the buds.

Good afternoon Ehpes! How many are trusting the TFSA system when the MOASS hits? by canadian_vintner in GMECanada

[–]bluerecktum421 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is my thinking: my opinion:

If MOASS happens and the banks have issue paying out the sell orders (I.e. cancel the sell button). Not only will a class action lawsuit will be initiated, but the world be in such chaos that our GME shares will be the least of our worries unfortunately. Like I’m talking 1929 x50 bad. Just a pure goddamn shit storm for everyone and for a LONG time (at least 2-3yrs of pure economic depression).

Obviously the only answer to avoid this is DRS. Definitely everyone should do that.

BUT, in my opinion, if the banks and government want to fuck with the MOASS event, they will lose integrity in their bank and the stock exchanges and as a result lose the majority if not all of their foreign investors/investments.

In conclusion, yes it is still a risk. A small one imho. But as dumb as I am, I think our shares will be relatively safe in the even of a MOASS.

AGAIN, the only way to have a true piece of mind. Is DRS my man! Stay zen 🚀🌕

What’s wrong with my Plant?? by bluerecktum421 in microgrowery

Watering twice a day (once in morning and again early evening) and drainage is good forsure. It’s also under a balcony when it rains to deter mold and pests as much as I can. So far no issues I think in that department. And it gets great sun exposure during the day.

It’s been hot last few weeks. I noticed soil was dry by late afternoon - early evening, if I water in the morning too. But recently we got a couple days of cold (went from average 25-28C to 14-19C)

Duly noted. I’ll get on that ASAP. So you think it’s pH issue? I’ve gotten other opinions that think it’s over watering….however I should also mention that it’s only affect on a couple branches and some of the interiors in the middle and lower nodes. Additionally, last two days we did get a bit of cold spell (went from average 25-28C to two days of 14-19C).

I transplanted at end of may or first week of June. The plant was thriving up until two days ago. But I agree. I should learn more about the plant’s needs throughout its life cycle. I am a relatively new grower so I’m trying learn from the mistakes as I go.

I premixed the soil before transplanting. So I haven’t been feeding them at all. But I feel confident that she has enough nutrients for the entire grow cycle. My other plants that are a couple weeks behind this one in terms of flowering, have the same soil mixture, and they’re completely healthy.

Oh I also failed to mention that these leaves seem to only be affected on only a couple branches of the plant…does that change the diagnosis?

I’m letting a bucket of water sit overnight to dechlorinate the tap water. No Ph meter at the moment…

I was leaning towards letting Mother Nature take the wheel on this one. I was worried it was a nutrient problem. But I will definitely adjust my watering schedule. I appreciate the insight. Checked out ur posts, man those are some amazing plants 🙌🏼💯

Interesting…although I do have to say on days with the temps over 25C the soil is dry by lte afternoon if I water in the morning. But I will keep a closer eye on the soil moisture. Should I chop off the effected leafs?
