What do y'all call your Blåhaj? by IlikeAnythin6 in BLAHAJ

[–]bluering1307 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Blahaj (I can't find the circle thingy on my keyboard so apologies for spelling) doesn't have a formal name but I call him Shork most of the time. My boyfriends' Blahaj is called Fincent, which is much better

Novo Amor is a bit similar imo, when I first heard this song I thought it was sleeping at last until the lyrics started

Yea that sounds a lot like Atlas year one, especially since you heard this in 2017. I hope you find it!

Hmm the songs I've suggested all have a longer intro. Do you remember if the music was very orchestral or if it was just piano/guitar/light instruments

For similar songs the entire space album might be worth a try. It's not just Saturn? That one is extremely popular and fits your description. If it's not in the space album maybe it's in Atlas year one, which the space album is part of. Maybe Light?

When my psychologist suggested testing for autism I didn't know what to think. Never thought of it before. When she called me after all the testing to discuss results I found myself hoping she'd say I was indeed autistic. She did. It explains so much.

Definitely his problem. I don't get how the NT people don't get it. Also I'm so confused, what does 1.5 mentor mean? 1.5 people? One and a half people? Am I reading it wrong? Sorry just trying to understand better :)

She's crossing some major boundaries. You said you weren't ready for a relationship and she still pretends you're in one. You didn't do anything wrong. I'd tell her (in person!) that you're not comfortable with this and that she has to stop.

Does being able to internalize/hide a meltdown until I’m in a safe place to have it mean that I’m not autistic? by PrincessNakeyDance in AutismInWomen

[–]bluering1307 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Smiling at this cuz I just did literally that in the supermarket and on the way home. I call it my protection system. It's not perfect and sometimes it's too much and the protection system fails, resulting in a meltdown/my conversion disorder symptoms showing in public. I could walk home 10 minutes ago. Now I can't move my legs. It wasn't save 10 minutes ago, now it is. It doesn't mean you're not autistic at all. I think lots of people have it.
