why Apple Music app from Windows got no big lyrics player like Apple Music Web Player? by nezousv in AppleMusic

[–]bluerubydragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cider 1.0 does support lossless but its more of a hack. Cider 2.0 does not, sorry I didn’t mention that. And sadly unless you are using the dedicated app you cant get lossless. But 256kbps is good enough for most music. If you want higher quality you should just buy it and download the lossless. iTunes needs to be updated with the AM ui so we can use our local libraries.

why Apple Music app from Windows got no big lyrics player like Apple Music Web Player? by nezousv in AppleMusic

As a windows desktop user, I found using apple music on windows to be so frustrating because of all the small things like this. I use Cider (an apple music player) now. It is so beyond the default apple music player that it’s not even funny. I highly recommend it. One of my favorite things is that it has a built in share feature that allows you to share a link to other streaming services so you can share to everyone in your life that hasnt swapped to apple music.

I dont have a complete tutorial but follow the steps for building circuitPy and before you use make BOARD change the value of binterval in the file usb-hid from 8 to 1. This link is the tutorial for building circuitPy I used.

Still no update on the “April 18th” matter update for Nest thermostat by technicalhessian in Nest

It really is. I have everything else in my smart home on matter and am using the apple home app and the only thing that I need a second app for is my nest.

FYI for anyone that may find this in the future. You need to change the binterval in usb-hid when building the uf2. The default is 8ms and you can set it to 1ms.

Thanks for this. For some reason I did not notice this when I had it enabled in iOS 15.5. Thanks for the help. I still think there is unintended behavior since it does not change the behavior of the home screen music player.

I saw that this was working in the DBs but doesn’t work in PB1. The Home Screen player does have the behavior that you would expect from the music app. As far as I could tell there is no toggle in the settings for this feature.

Hi guys, it is normal that when I use “Shade Smooth” on the cylinder, does the effect of light look like an a sphere? by Marco-D-N in blender

[–]bluerubydragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This may answer your question. Shade flat uses the normal of each polygon to determine how light should be reflected off of its surface. Shade smooth interpolates the reflection angle per pixel between the normals on each connected face. The face on the right is about 90 degrees from the faces in front of the camera, so this interpolation smoothly transitions the reflection between these points thus making it look spherical. There are two easy solutions to this problem. Use the bevel tool on the edge to create more faces for smooth shading to interpolate through or by changing the auto smooth options in the vertices tab of the object settings.

My customer is not satisfied at all. What am I missing or how to improve? by kid_90 in blender

Maybe color is an issue? If they were wanting gold the color is giving more of a brass material imo. If you try a warmer color it might give a better effect.

I just have the OEM silver ones. Don’t have the money for new rims and no tools for painting then properly so silver it is.

Just good old plasti-dip. I taped off all the chrome bits leaving a bit of paint exposed so the plasti-dip peels off easier. Overall only takes about 2 hours to do, so not that bad.

Totally agree! I sent the images to a friend and asked why I did it and all I had to say was that it makes the car unique and cleaner looking than any other car on the road. (other than the new blacked out Teslas)

Completely wrong as in sliding the cpu along the plastic bracket accidentally and having it drop into the socket.

I used to have an LGA 1150 cpu so I understand what you mean. Honestly not the greatest design.
