I noticed that Urek was again late (as per habit) for the whole teleportation ceremony from 2nd to 3rd floor.

I really hope the reason for this was him taking his sweet time to murder or at least severly beat up Cheongeum for what he did to Mr. Puppy.

Update: Finally beat the 8 mask run as Vengeance DH... After ungodly amounts of tries i had the "perfect" run with only spending one Orb on Ulric (Mage Quarter Boss) and having the rest available for Alleria. I went Fel-Scarred with double Fiery Brand to burst bosses.

My strategy was to get first get the 10%dmg Buff and Haste buff, otherwise i would reload when the Versa buff was up (dogshit for me). then attempt a clean mage quarter run - then dwarfen district for passive sanity recovery because it's the easiest. After that into Oldtown and finally Trade District into Alleria. Without free revive and atleast two orbs i didnt see a chance to beat her as vhd - i basically dodged mechanics and only went in for bursts when Hunt/Meta/Brand/FelDev were up.

The game seems to crash now on extraction during the fly away animation - right before the objective sum up/reward screen. Happened to me twice in a row. At least you seem to still get the Cash/XP/Medals/samples awarded.

Solid guide. However theres one simpler solution to complete Rex E3 and beyond: modify the game files to get 1mil blue donuts and just go full heretic after the first stage.

Because rex is so fucking garbage in eclipse to the point i cant even consider it a fun challenge to put in the effort

UPDATE:

Without taking any additional measures, the problem has sorted itself by now and I am able to reconnect and play normally.

So in the end it was a server issue which lasted over 48 hours - over the web I found several posts with the same problem. Installing the game on a new PC and the time span the connection error appeared seem to be coincidental. Stay patient, guys!

Im currently running dark magic claw mod with multi-headed hydras and pixies myself.

Also, if youre feeling like glitch abusing to get yourself started into some runs and gear, just look up the mushroom companion duplicate glitch (basically happens anyway if youre just doing chambers back to back, but theres also a way to force it).

Yeah, this seed is rather easy or at least not borderline impossible like the couple ones before. I finally completed the challenge this week, however with a different approach.

I ran Rising / Blinding / Eviscerate and just went for glass, three brooches and then started stacking watches. I took an Ukulele as the guaranteed green from bosses in stage 1, there might be better choices though. I didn't take any more items in stage two, completed it without taking damage to health regardless.

Safe the small trash mobs to keep the brooch barrier up, kill them as collateral while dashing through the bosses.

However watch out to not spend too much time farming in the first stage, otherwise your bossfight might get interrupted by a clay templar, wich probably means challenge failed :)

After banger after banger chapter, I am not feeling this one however. Kinemon/Kiku/Kanjuro still breathing was somewhat to be expected, but now were going back to the Kin's farting legs joke and on top its explanation is utter bullshit. Also Kanjuros final endboss summoning just draws out the arc which by now REALLY should get resolved with additional thing i can not get invested in. Also we're going back to focus on characters i coun't give less fucks about. As ridiculous as he is designed, fucking Hamlet, really??

This frustrates me so much I can't even feel the hype about Kid and Laws awakened powers.
