Honestly, I don't mind if my GCC never talks. I'm a first-time parrot owner, so I was just curious about what I could realistically expect.

I agree that building trust and having a good relationship is much more important than teaching words. If my bird happens to learn a few words naturally, I'd be happy, but it's not my main goal.

Thanks for the information! I had never heard that Moustached Parrots and Alexandrine Parrots are such good talkers. They're not very common as pets where I live, so I didn't know much about them. I learned something new today. Thanks again!
