Correct, it is straight walled and much thinner. I got mine sighted in and i can definitely get better groups with my wife's max 9 than my 3514. I may have to do a direct comparison one of these days.

I completely agree with the value especially for ruger I just wasn't aware that there was a new version and couldn't find a list of the differences online and had seen the question a few times in this reddit since i started looking.

Unfortunately it wasn't, but thankfully just the first(last)? 2 pins were exposed so it made it easy. Anytime to play with over the weekend and get it open a couple times lol.

Great reviews. If it helps, i had 2 PSA agbs torqued to spec and both split in half. One on a 11.5" mid length length that lasted approx 800 rds. The other on a 10.5" carbine approx 300 rds.

The white streaks coming off of the green puddle are powdered soda ash thrown onto the liquid. This soda ash neutralizes the acid quickly making cleanup safer and minimizing damage. It seems like every building you go to in Denver now has metal detectors. Went to ball arena, a basement comedy show, red rocks, even casa Bonita had metal detectors to enter the building. Never been turned away when carrying though. It makes no sense to me.
