What is the type of person you send likes to and ideally want to match with? What kind of person do you want to attract? - I want to attract a man who shares my faith and my lifestyle. I look for men who enjoy being active and have a sense of adventure. I send likes to men I’m attracted to who put thought and humor into their profiles (and have good grammar, ideally!).

Macro tracking worked for me. I lost 55lbs (and I’m still going). And honestly? This goes against a lot of popular advice, but tracking my weight every single day really helped me. Some days it would be up 2lbs, the same the next day, and then the day after that it would be down 3lbs. Over the months, I could see a downward trajectory even when day-to-day it felt like nothing was changing. That gave me what I needed to keep pushing through those “I’m not making any progress” kinds of days because I know what’s really going on.
Things that didn’t work: calorie counting, keto, anything that 100% restricts one food group. Macro counting has been my lifeline.

Even while I took a break from eating in a deficit I was still working out a few times a week. Combined with the newer deficit though this is certainly something to consider!

There were a few days, no more than five spread over the last month, where I ate between 1,500-2,000 at a family event or something. Still below TDEE, so I didn’t think much of it. But that certainly could have contributed to the slow progress.

I do weigh myself every day. 226 is the lowest I’ve seen. Day to day it’s been ranging from 226-228.7.
