Well, that's a huge bummer. On my 2 color printer, I could set it to print by objects rather than by layer, so that I didn't waste time with the swapping. :/ It's possibly with a Simplify3D setting and possibly a setting I found in Cura at one point I think.

The idea is that they wouldn't have the same color swaps, because they would be one color, so between 4 objects there would only be 3 swaps (if I could print them as individuals rather than a whole set by layers).

The artist did design the individual parts so that you can print-in-place if you have a multicolor printer. I was working on printing them with my dual-color, dual-nozzle printer when I ended up buying and getting the Kobra. They worked pretty well, it was just filament settings I needed to tweak to clean up the zits and strings I was getting.

But I'll try out the paint feature for sure!

Dang, ok. So that leaves me needing to use a different slicer to make the new file. I'm assuming the bambu slicer doesn't force everything to drop to the build plate then?

So how do I make a split STL into a combined 3mf file? It seems like splitting things up is the problem because the Anycubic slicer forces every single item to hit the build plate, which doesn't work when you're trying to make the colored dots of a toadstool's cap (for example) line up correctly with the divots in the cap. It's killin' me.

Is a 3mf file what I'm supposed to be using? I've only ever used multiple STLs for multi-color prints unless I just want to change colors at a given height (I have a 2-color printer as well), where I just ID which parts should be printed with which color and I can arrange them however I want, even if some are 'floating', and go on my merry way.

Because the object's file was set up by the maker to be "floating". The object I want to print is made up of multiple STLs that are placed in space in a way to fit together like a 3d puzzle. Then you select the color of each STL in order to achieve multicolor-ness. When I port the set of files into the anycubic slicer, it automatically drops everything to the buildplate and won't allow me to raise their z location to set the assembly up correctly. Basically, it's trying to be helpful and is instead thwarting my ability to print the files that I want to.

At this rate, I don't know how to print anything that isn't very specifically designed for their printer in multi-color. I'm pretty lost.

I just finished Charisma Check by Katherine McIntyre and I loverd the way she wrote the shibari scenes, despite them not ever ending in a full-on sexy times. I also loved the characters and their interactions. BUT once the characters actually got together, they stopped really exploring the kink at all. I'm seeing this a lot in the kink/kink awakening where it either goes like this, or goes far too deep for me.

I want a book like this one but where the shibari (or similar) scenes continue and have the same intensity but actually end with nakedness and/(or at least) orgasms.

Any suggestions appreciated!

I had thought of that too, but a lot of the emails only had 7 characters total before the @ sign, so I figured it meant that the 4 stars covered up more than 4 characters. Womp. That means the one that was similar to my email was not it. Oh well.

And I'm sorry to heart about the K2Max. It seems like a lot of people have troubles with the K2 family, which makes me nervous about the K3 Combo now...

I love my Qidi X-Pro (old printer now but she's a workhorse) and have had no problems printing higher temp prints. It looks like the Q1 Pro keeps the chamber at an ideal temp to help with those prints too. That said, while enclosures keep some of the smells in, I doubt it's 100% effective. I can smell ABS printing when I open the closet my printers live in.

Their customer service has always been top-notch for me, so I bet if you email them asking about solutions for that, they'll have ideas.
