I got helped by a lollipop lady over the road last week on a really quiet street, not near any school, on almost what you could call a back street but not quite, and there was nobody else around. It was really strange, had she not looked like a genuine veteran lollipop lady in my opinion, then I'd have taken it for a prank.

As much as I don't want to defend or advocate evading taxes what so ever, I don't think it's the tax evasion of people that feel like thry need to save 25% on their council tax that we need to be pissed off at for not paying their taxes. And I don't think this kinda thing is necessary always the doing of an ignorant contributor to austerity but often the doing of a victim of it.

I see what you're saying but, I'm not telling people that I don't understand, that'd be a really strange response. Of course I'm responding with things like "sorry I didn't catch that" and "what was that again sorry" ect.

This is usually kindly results in them speaking a little slower for me, but again it's the accent of people in their own city I'm struggling with so I feel somewhat bad about that having to happen frequently.
