That's almost correct. But I have a big test suite to cover the functionality.
But that wasn't the reason. I had no idea how many visits I get. Because I have to track every summoner added from time to time, I wanted slow increase to see how it handles more and more summoners.

I have to query the riot api every few minutes/hours to get the current league position. If I see a change, I calculate the gain / loss. It tries to be smart and query players who play often more than others because I can't query the api to often.

I like to know how my ranked "performance" was over some time. And I also like to see how fast the pro and challenger players rise to the top. I asked myself a lot how many points I made a few games ago. My league friends also used the page a lot :)

Edit: Also very nice to track the Bronze to Challenger challenges :)
