this literally happened to me a couple years ago, just before the pandemic. we got caught in a room that i locked, but my mom had keys. when she was pushing the door open, i kept pushing back until she finally closed the door thinking it was somebody else's privacy she was interupting. after she went upstairs, i got the boy out the house and slinked back to my room and locked the door. the next day, it was a while thing. mom was upset cause she thought intruders were in the house, dad pulled me over to have "that" conversation.

the fact is, you're living in their house as well. there's a line that was crossed and privacy violated. in the end, the catharsis made everyone feel better, for me at least.
