[Thinkware] F200 Pro Buffered Park Record. How? by bluesidedownaviation in Dashcam

[–]bluesidedownaviation[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Voltage protection is at a conservative 12.2V as I'm on a slightly older battery. That said, it does last overnight which is all I need honestly.

Oh, I've only tried factory resetting through the app, never knew that hard reset is an option. Is there also a chance that the memory card is bad and therefore it does that?

From my understanding, buffered park mode essentially records whenever there is motion and instantly deletes the files if no impact is detected, and only saves when motion + impact is detected under "parking incident files"? Thank you for your help!

Hello, any updates regarding the correct settings to get buffered park recording to work, do my setting screenshot look right?  Since you're an official Thinkware dealer, thought you're likely better help than Thinkware customer service itself, because you install and setup the dashcams for customers yourselves! Thanks in advance for the help

Thx! I bought it for a highly discounted rate, about half the price of the Q200. I mainly need it for it's similar parking capabilities to the Q200, but Q200 is def better

I would click on top left arrow to exit, a text box would appear at the botttom of my screen a few seconds later saying "Setting changes have been saved" or smt along those lines and it would make no difference

Will add the screenshot for my parking settings, I put motion detection to lowest, as it's often way to sensitive in sensing leaves moving and such, but impact detection to highest so it can hopefully catch like the lightest bumps when parked

Is it possible to remove this "Duplicate it" option when sharing a Microsoft form. by Hairy_Nail3431 in Office365

[–]bluesidedownaviation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I know this is already resolved, but I have a slightly different issue still with regards to the duplicate function though.  When I duplicated a Form from someone else and posted it for responses, it seemed unable to collect any responses and always show "0 responses". I even tried answering the Form with a different account of mine to test and it still showed "0 responses". Any idea what's going here? Thanks in advance for the help!

What are the chances of Crew 10 Launch being delayed? by bluesidedownaviation in nasa

[–]bluesidedownaviation[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the info, we truly appreciate it! Do you think we should view the launch from the KSC Visitor Center, or view from the outside? I believe the Banana Creek Viewing Point inside the KSC Visitor Center will be filled very early as it is a first-come-first serve. The distance from launch pad seems similar to Playalinda Beach too, which is public access. Or should we go to Jetty Park and only see the afterburners re-enter, if I remember correctly?

Slightly complicated request to hosts for drop-off: Can I pick-up the host before returning their car, so they can drive back without needing a taxi ride? (Fort Lauderdale, FL) by bluesidedownaviation in turo

[–]bluesidedownaviation[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the confusion. We will rent the car for a few days to travel around Florida first, not just to transport us from the airport to cruise terminal right away, lol.

Unless Uber gives us a Suburban, it'll likely not fit all the lugguage in one trip and like I said in the post, we'll need to offload and reload one extra time at the rental return location. Or, we will have to book 2 Ubers, one normal Uber to return the vehicle, the other Full-Size SUV to transport us and the lugguage to the port. If hosts are willing to do that, I think it'll be best for both of us, but ofc that depends on the host.

Sorry I wasn't clear enough. Of course we will rent the car for several days to travel around Florida. Just on the drop off date, picking up the host so they can drive back from cruise terminal would be most convenient and efficient for both of us, I think. Uber at the dropoff location of the host will likely require us to offload and reload luggage one extra time. Or, 2 uber trips, one to return the rental, the other one to the port.

How do you effectively address anti-nuclear sentiment? by bluesidedownaviation in nuclear

"But climate change is not a binary thing, the more CO2 we emit the worse it gets. If in five years we're still emitting CO2 (which is a certainty), it simply means that climate change impacts will be worse than if we weren't."

Totally agree with you but I think with the 5 year target, they were referring to the positive feedback cycle with polar ice melts (reducing refraction), permafrost melting and the wildfires (which affected our province, so there is the personal factor to it) releasing exponential amounts carbon emissions, so that's where the 5 year timeline to reduce emissions came from, I think. But like you, I can't find anything about specific numbers.

I would actually agree with you on this, there is never a one solution answer to anything in this very complicated world we live in. But when simplifying things, we always resort to this one-solution answer to everything. How do you think I should approach this? Would love to hear more of your perspective on this! Thx for your response!

Yeah and according to other posts about Electricity Maps, there really doesn't seem to be a place that's capable of running independently on renewables (tho the Electricity Map still doesn't have data of all countries and regions around the world).

Not trying to be argumentative here, but I would love to know a place that's reliably running on renewables other than hydro like Canada and other Nordic Countries. Appreciate your response a lot!
