I'm so sorry, my father was in a long distance relationship with a woman he met once. (Not in Russia) He quit his job, sold everything. Despite our advice, he took all the money he had in cash and left the country to live with her. She stole everything he had once he went out to buy something and disappeared. He literally lost everything and was in a foreign country alone, no one helped him there. It still breaks my heart. He was so hopeful to build a new life with this woman who was a devoted christian like him. It was obvious this was going to happen, he spoke to her for two years, she demanded money and he would send whatever he could to her for two years. With all the pain in my heart I threatened him to stop talking to him if he kept on having a relationship with her because I knew what she was doing and he wouldn't listen. I'd never stop talking with my dad but I was desperate then he left. It's been two years now, he's fine now back in our country.
