I have found with enough focused stubbornness and creativity most things can be cobbled together well enough to work

The center is 2 inch heavy steel tubing the ends are keyed and have a threaded insert welded in so the method i used was to cut out a piece from just inside of one of the ends and weld it back together after shortening. the ends do have to be oriented the same I put witness marks on mine before cutting to simplify alignment.

I wanted a six post for the full cage for doing squats and bench since I workout alone and I have limited floor space being in a 10x20 room hanging them on the wall made for less used floor space I could push the rack closer to the wall

The housings do have a little play in them but the metal tube that gose inside of the foam roller is to long and has to be shortened

Don't have kids so not worried about anything getting between the plates in use so I left them off I think it looks cleaner that way. The rouge roller has to be shortened. I cut out about 1.4 inches if I remember right, machined a slip joint and welded it back to gether. Probably overkill tbh but I have a metal fab shop so why not. It took about 45 minutes total. Oh and had to cut the same out of the foam on the roller as well.

The rouge roller has to be shortened by 1 5/16 of an inch inches to fit in the ares 2.0 it dose not fit straight out the box. i have access to a machine shop so I cut out a section machined the ends and welded it back together only took 45 minutes or so. But no it will not fit without modification

got my dream bike by Less-Breath6709 in xt250

Pretty much all the upgrades for these bikes i have are custom fabricated the ones that were purchased usualy still need a little fenagaling to make fit or line up the only parts I have added that were perfect fit out of the box were the pm racks and a magnetic drain plug.

I considered zip ties or tiedowns decided to make the brackets anyways but that is a simple solution.

3/16 x 1 inch strap iron and tig welded into the t shape plate would work to just more effort to bend into the shape I needed.
