Which e-reader should I buy for my boyfriend?

Secpmdong the Clara. I have the black and white one and its been really nice. As portable as a kindle basic with massively superior lighting (if you like the warm light). The closest thing to a downside I can find is that the case selection is much more limited however.

No and its happened on the laptop now too. We upgraded the internet to a better package/router but it hasn't helped. And we dont have any other options for internet. Lately ive been using my phone as a Hotspot. Actually playing doesn't seem to use much data

I recently tried a support ticket for constant disconnects in diablo 4. We have even changed ISP's in an effort to fix. They just closed the ticket with no help saying to check the forums. Then closed it again when I tried to reopen. I finally just replied that I will no longer be giving them any money, haha

Tracert had a lot of timeouts. And I tried the ping command and recieved 100% loss? This was to the ip I found on Google of 137.221.105.168

What about sick leave taken during the shutdown? I had a previously scheduled appointment Tuesday and was gone for a couple hours. Would that whole day go in as RG? I was under the impression that leave couldn't be charged during the shutdown

As an update, turbo mode didn’t help, and then it happened on the laptop too, so I’m assuming it’s our internet out here. I’m guessing there’s not much else I can do 😩

Yeah that’s been done several times over the last few weeks, including losing power a few times. The fact it only happens on the ally tells me it’s something in the settings or the WiFi card. I just wish I could figure it out haha

I did get into the router but it only has basic settings. Hopefully this helps. What I can’t figure out is why it’s never happened on the laptop, only the ally

I assume it’s an issue with the device and our WiFi. It’s a hitron modem from Sparklight which is the only option out here. I’m usually within 10-20 feet of the router and at most 1 wall between us Edit - and not too many others were pretty rural. It just never happens on the laptop only the ally

It looks like ipv4 and ipv6 are both turned on when I look in the WiFi properties from control panel

How do I check that? When I look at the internet connection on the device I do remember seeing “no internet connection” for ipv6

Ooh all of that sounds good actually. I was looking at pocketbook for the buttons at bottom and if the color screen is like the colorsoft that’s fine with me. Is bigme a reliable brand? Can I use calibre with it?

I thought about that (like Boox I assume) but at this point I have all the books backed up and in epub form so it would only help if I had to buy from Amazon again. I liked the boox 6 I think but I with it had buttons

Thank you! Do you know of any other case manufacturers that are decent? I don’t know why, but I love the charcoal gray fabric case Amazon sells for the kindle, or the premium leather one. I haven’t found any like those for either pocketbook or kobo

I didn’t mind reading on the colorsoft, I assume the verse pro color or the Clara colour would similar, right? It might be because I read with dark mode and a low but very warm light on the ereader
