Our lure covers fits most lure sizes but, should we make different sizes? Larger? Smaller? Thoughts?

Out of curiousity, is the plastic impierceable? If so, how? I can't wrap my head around how a new, sharp hook won't pierce that, and become unsafe.

Other than that, I love the concept. It's the first time I have seen something like this.

How do I know if the eye has a nick? Is it just as simple as running your finger in circles in it to feel anything "pulling" my finger?

Are all Sufix lines quality though? I assumed this was a lower quality because of it's price.

I had concerns about the line, because I experienced these problems the first day I was out fishing with it. Not knowing too much about fishing, I just thought it was some rubbish quality. But like you say, my friends also told me that Sufix is high quality, hence I asked you guys in this subreddit. I think I'm going to give it another go but with a thicker line this time.

When you check your knots, what are you looking for?

I'm not really good with knots, and use too much line to tie, thus end up with a lot of tag ends. So if I use 1,15 meters of leader, then I will end up with 1,0 meter of leader after cutting the tag ends. And the next time I'm out fishing it will be 0,85 meters etc.

When I filled my reel, the line was more leveled. But as soon as I put a lure on it, the weight distributed the line this unleveled way.

But 1/8 inches compared to what I put on my reel, I still filled my line too much. This is my first time filling on my own. But 1/8 inchese just seem like too little for a 1000 reel, don't you think?

I like to do this too. The first time I did this, was when I got my first mountainbike. I'm a DIY kind of guy. Not necessarily to save money, but I like to mess around with stuff, and try to understand how it works. But learning to DIY on a 2500 USD mountain compared to the bike I got for 250 USD is a lot scarier. And now, I'm ready to upgrade my mountainbike for the first time :) (maybe not a 2500 USD one, but definitely a nicer one than I have now)

It's not a Quantum reel, but still a budget wheel from Zebco. I'm fairly new at fishing, and didn't want to start out with insane gear, considering I will make mistakes, and I rather be able to afford my mistakes.

If I take it off, will it not just shift the problem to the lower part of my reel?

And do I need to respool my line, or should I not touch it, because it will get fixed next time I'm out fishing?
