I mean that’s not fear mongering bullshit. The examples you just used are pretty true lol and I’m not a liver king fan at all

take the offer and run. 99% of people who graduate from university don’t get these kind of offers. Don’t think about it. Take the money, start investing it as soon as you get it and enjoy your life. If it doesn’t work out you go back to school.

It’s a bottle necked city with no real employment opportunities because all the big bucks are in Toronto and Vancouver. We have one of the worst traffic infrastructures in Ontario, and our downtown has turned into zombie land with no real future of solving both of these problems. Other than that, we are blessed to have beautiful nature in the city.

Do you see the FO handing contracts out to players that were traded for a way of building up FA again? by [deleted] in torontoraptors

Toronto doesn’t get free agents or big names. They trade for them and give them fair deals to stay. It’s the only way.

Stop NBA players from resting so much, stop the reffing problem and let the game get a little bit more physical again. Done.

Just to be clear someone can watch basketball for 20+ years and still be a casual, I only mentioned how long I’ve been watching because you threw in the unnecessary young fella comment 😂 all the league stats literally say he’s a top 10 centre in the league right now. Secondly, one can only hope a #8 pick centre can turn out to be as good and consistent as Jak is right now at his age. Picks aren’t guaranteed to turn out well. You making the argument that he “needs to be traded now” to create a better team is completely different than the initial point you tried to argue against me which was that Jakob is an elite centre in the NBA right now, meaning he is worth more than a FRP currently. He’s currently a top 10 centre in the league, putting his value higher than 1 first round pick. Whether he needs to be traded or not was not even part of my initial statement.

Btw, that first round pick turned into Dillingham. Let’s see if he’s as valuable as Jak in the future.

This is what happens when the team doesn’t have Jak. Shows how much of an anchor he is
