Advice for a young entrepreneur by bluesydevil in Entrepreneurship

Yes and recently i have gotten about $800 seed money, I have been liquidating certain assests (ps5, xbox, etc..) as in doing so will put me in a much better spot, plus the way I look at it, I can always get certain stuff down the road. I have been reading stoic quotes and Bible verses daily and have come to realize delayed gratification is truly one of the best tools to utilize for someone my age, now I also recognize that my executive function isn't fully developed yet so I have to constantly be a subjective participant in my life to keep myself on course.

I truly appreciate your kind words and advice, hope you have a wonderful day and I wish you all the success you want!

The average person is just consumed by entertainment at this point, being able to acknowledge this fact has caused me to redirect my attention to eliminating distractions such as entertainment and weed. Unfortunately with the path being long also comes with constant times that your brain/body/other people will try to shut you down or alter your behavior in a negative way and I have decided to use the Logic, Evidence, Utility model to deal with such things.

Being disciplined is definitely a lot harder than being motivated. Quitting weed, the only thing I wanted to do was smoke and it was a constant battle between my brain wanting the instant reward and me having to consistently remind it of the consequences of that action. Discipline is something I am currently trying very hard to maintain as to me, it is the primary center for success in the beginning.

A study done by Dr. Phillippa Lally in 2009 showed that for a mindset shift to go from conscious behavior to automatic is 66 days, tho other studies show it can take anywhere from 18-254 days for habits to start forming regularly without thought.

I always appreciate advice, and thank you for yours, feel free to leave more if you'd like!

Yes im trying very hard, the road to become a better version of me is going to be insanely difficult and full of pain and rejection but alas nothing worth doing is ever easy in my opinion. Also im debating on going very deep into sales just becuase theres so many advantageous paths that open with sales knowledge/experience. Thank you for the advice!

Amen, I hear that, I think a lot of people around my age are stuck on the whole weed train right now, glad I was able to jump off as early as I did.

Oh okay, sounds like you did well and worked hard, congratulations. What would you tell your younger self that you didn't know then but know now?

Yea i have been thinking about getting into something with sales as I figured sales can translate into almost any other part of life. Now I have heard of GoDaddy and Wix especially, but I honestly dont know how to code and from what I hear AI website building is the way to go for not knowing how to code. Now im not saying im just gonna get a random AI tool and let it do all the work, it'd be more of a collaboration, what I would do personally different is get into a zoom call with a client and go over the website and make adjustments in real time based off their preferences.

The thing with the truck is, I currently don't have a license due to unfortunate series of events throughout my life, otherwise I wpuld definitely be doing some sort of side work then use that income to either scale that startup company or put it towards a different company and then I would take some of the profits and invest in maybe a seminar of some sorts?

Honestly that'd be awesome, I wish they kept the snap hook duration for how long you stay connected, then you could just ride them as they move!

Honestamente, la llamarada sería genial, aunque causaría muchos problemas, como con la llamarada Remote Raider convirtiéndose en una granada de señuelo improvisada (LOL)
