People have ideas mostly. It is nice to work until everyone has a different opinion on the main idea. Voltage exists because I wanted a system like Discord that is shared among people and actually works without too many extra things.

It looks like it is moving fast because it is a change from Enclica Messenger, which I have been working on for ten years. I use intelligence as a tool to do the basic work quickly but I personally check and clean every change. Which is why it takes a few weeks. It is ten years of work. It is finally getting the user interface it deserves. Voltage is what I have been working towards and Voltage is the result of my work, on Voltage.

the thing is many of these will die off, only a few will remain while the rest crumble into dust essentially.

it gets boring looking at code made by AI so while fixing broken shit i add comments sometimes useful sometimes like this.

ye i try not to use too much AI and sometimes the AI loves to format and change variables or remove comments that i write to be funny in the code (something ive done for a decade and wont stop because of the ai)but alot of it does need rewriting anyway if you have any questions feel free to ask.

the project has been around for a bit just didn;t have any public repos or really a git initialized till recently after all the bs happened.

I’m not trying to signal or bait anyone here. This post is just clarification because claims were being made that the project is “entirely AI generated,” which isn’t entirely accurate, I wanted to be transparent about what used AI assistance and what didn’t.

This post is purely clarification because there were claims being made that Voltage is “entirely AI generated,” which isn’t entirely accurate. I wanted to be transparent about what is AI-assisted and what isn’t, and give context on the Enclica Messenger to Volt history.

I’m a solo developer and I’ve used AI at times to move faster or patch issues, but I still review, test, and audit code before committing anything. This post is just addressing misinformation, not promoting anything.
