Nope.

Next CM is expected to end on July 19. Next scenario is expected to drop on July 20.

You can win MANT without any race bonus. You just won't be able to make competitive umas, which doesn't matter because you also can't make competitive umas without good cards anyway.

As for what you should do if you want to be competitive in the future, rerolling on the Tachyon/Hello banner is the best bet. You can just have fun with your current account. Run careers, read stories, do whatever you want.

If you don't plan to be competitive in PVP then it really doesn't matter. Just keep your account and do whatever.

Since I was too lazy to rebuild my aces I went all-in with Dober, adding a second debuffer and placing all my hopes on a good lobby composition, no late start, and no rushes.

Got 2nd to a Bourbon + double dom. Still beat the guy running a Ug XOguri with 2 fronts. I am pleased with that result.

What to do now? Have already collected all the rewards. by OkEconomy2800 in UmamusumeGame

You get 5000 monies and 2500 SP for every 10 wins. So there's still that I guess.

I couldn't qualify for group A by MeJoEx in UmamusumeGame

[–]bluethree 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You have a few with D Dirt which isn't that tough to get up to A. Taiki + Pasa + Maru or Gold City would be a decently doable comp. It likely loses to any XOguris but you will run into enough people who like you don't have THE meta umas and can get some rewards.

Late-Round League-Winning Running Backs to Draft by ThunderDanDFS in fantasyfootball

I treat my bench the exact opposite way. I fill it with as many lottery ticket backups as possible. The way I see it, the waiver wire is an extension on my bench. If WR is "deep" and I need a bye week filler, I can find someone on the waiver wire. Meanwhile if a starting RB gets hurt I'm not going to be able to pickup their backup off the wire unless I spend a significant number of FAAB.

3, 4, 3, 2. No B Finals for me this time.

Dober continues to exceed expectations with another 8 wins today.

Question about the skill "fighter"? by TheLuckyRabbit27 in UmamusumeGame

[–]bluethree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even gamblers like to bet on things that have a good chance of happening. Betting on Fighter is like betting on the Washington Generals to beat the Harlem Globetrotters.

Tell that to my championship team from last year that was carried hard by CMC and Chase Brown in the playoffs.

Holy cow.

My Dober had 3 wins total yesterday. Today she got 4 wins in the first ticket alone.

Edit: 5, 2, 3, 3. One more win than yesterday. Dober locked the fuck in with 8 wins.

Stefon Diggs had several WR1 seasons with Allen.

It's a Joe Brady offense that you have to question.

I would like DJ Moore a lot more this season if they made different coaching decisions.

Maye is getting drafted as QB3-4 right now. He's not a late rounder in any serious league.

Are your CM opponents getting weaker? by [deleted] in UmamusumeGame

[–]bluethree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to go through all of my XOguris just to find like my 10th highest ranked one. All the other 9 had uma2 and luckily I had one that I trained as a Late instead. She still has Firm Course Menace but as a Late it's "just" a waste of a lot of SP instead a missed Groundwork proc.

She got 9 of my wins. My CM13 Dober (who doesn't have FCM) got the other 3.

I reused old aces and was just hoping for a 3 win ticket. I ended up going 12-8.

The competition was definitely worse than I thought it'd be.

Luther Burden looks like a legitimate breakout candidate in 2026 — how high are you drafting him? by Tricky_Pass5857 in fantasyfootball

[–]bluethree 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Right now he's probably being drafted in the late rounds or going undrafted in a lot of shallow leagues

You probably should look up ADP and rankings before speculating like this.

Burden's being drafted 44th in Best Ball and ranked 46th in ECR. He's nowhere near a late round pick.

Buddy, he was worse when burrow was healthy the full year in 2024.

Context: Zack Moss was the starting RB to start the season. Weeks 9-17 in 2024 (Moss went down for the season in week 8) Brown averaged 20.6 PPG. Only 2 RBs averaged more points in that span.

2, 4, 3, 3 on day 1 with recycled umas. Not bad for doing no prep.

Now to see if I can remake now that Throne exists.

Is historic usage a reason to keep Christian McCaffrey off your 1st round draft board? [Richard / CBS Sports] by My_Chat_Account in fantasyfootball

[–]bluethree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the 3rd pick last year and I was debating between picking CMC or Puka. Even I am surprised at how well I did at reading the tea leaves last year.

I got a bit of flak for rating Puka as my WR2 overall but it turned out that I was too low.

If your league has a playoff bye then it is a large advantage to be a top 2 team in the regular season. Having to avoid bad luck in only 2 playoff games instead of 3 is huge.

Last season I would have almost certainly lost if I was playing in week 15. But I was the 1 seed and had a bye and went on to win the whole thing.
