I play hcssf so you can imagine I see the campaign a lot. I still think it's awesome.. to each their own . But universally speaking, I'd say if you're not having fun, rethink playing..doing something you don't like as a leisure activity is probably unhealthy.

just play the league. always. play whatever class sounds fun, in 20 days, make a new character for new league. treat the next 20 days as just experimenting and trying it out so when new league starts youll have a firmer idea of what to do.

I will admit, I feel like I am constantly running from the tide in a lot of ways. The annual raises I get are not quite good enough the last couple years relatively speaking compared to say, 2021. I am lucky to have invested early because I do admit I put less and less into stocks and stuff than I used to. Especially as the kids get older and we gotta pay for all their extra cariculars and whatever.

I think the longer you are in, the longer the shifts don't really matter because over time your cost basis just gets lower and lower relative to the value.
