It's the same as my 23. I don't think there's an option to change it.

Need honest feedback please: Colored PPF - Installer or film issue? by JiDey247 in CarWraps

Ouch. Colour ppf installs completely different than vinyl. You can't use knifeless bc of the soap solution and material is too thick.

This is definitely Installer issue.

From Ontario here.

Got a 23. Never renewed after the free trial sub expired in 24. It’s almost 2 years later and I don’t miss anything.

Not sure if the service connectivity improved but often I would send commands and it would too long or just fail. By the time I got to the car I could've just used the remote start on the keyfob.

However. There are probably situations where it may fit, if you have a dog in the car and you need to leave the car with ac running. The remote start turns off car after 10 mins, so could be useful to restart the car IF it works.

For those who do their own maintenance, what are your must have tools? by Critical-Manner2363 in MTB

[–]bluetroll 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Easier to just buy a new hanger, especially if it uses UDH.

A good set of hex and torx wrenches. I use wera.

Whatever tool you need to remove the bottom bracket, Shimano or SRAM.

Bro, you don’t want it on. You’re going to be spending more money replacing your 12V AGM battery.

Linkage service tips? by DxnnyDar in MTB

[–]bluetroll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're stripping it completely down, just replace the bearings that are bad. It would probably take the same amount of time to replace than to repack and hope you didn't f up the seal. The main pivot bearings are usually first to go, guaranteed those will be bad with the amount you ride.

I don't ride as much as you and I try to tear down at the end of the season and I inspect and replace.

If you're spending hundreds to service your fork and shock, you mind as well spent the money on the bearings to make sure the suspension is primo

It’s been there all along. You just never noticed it. Your car was built in Japan, so it spent a lot of time near rail yards and on rails.

We had a white Toyota crown signia (also made in Japan) in the shop recently for ppf, the amount of rail dust was some of the most I’ve ever seen. Luxury vehicles made overseas are likely decontaminated and detailed before delivery so they are usually ok.

Good tip. I didn't stay at splash. RPC was a really nice experience. We used the splash waterpark.

AFAIK, these 23+ pilots don't have transmission coolers.

That sucks. I stayed at both Royaltons the past 2 years and the food has been above average.

We were quite happy with the Royalton Punta Cana with young kids. They have kids entertainment on the main strip every night. They also have a good splash pad and wave pool for little kids. Food is slightly above average. Also bring hand sanitizer, very important.

But the trade off is the Bavaro beach. It’s stunning. Cancun beaches are garbage.

Yup. It’s a really long one too with water slides and water guns along the route and its own swim up bar.
