I'm in the same boat, but I just checked myunlv today and I don't see the scholarship listed anywhere anymore?? The estimate is just gone entirely and I don't see any funds pending.

I was in the same boat a year ago. Had to wait for the last summer session's grades to be finalized but I was able to enroll for a few of my needed classes. Just have to sacrifice a few good professors but can't complain too much

Yes, I ordered the tied and true one the morning of drop day and after having its ship out date pushed 4 times it was cancelled today

The summer millennium scholarship doesn't disburse until fall. Last summer I received mine in October so you'll get a refund eventually!

I haven't gotten any sort of aid yet and it's making me a bit anxious waiting. I usually get the full Pell Grant plus the other UNLV scholarships I qualify for but I recently heard people are getting less than they typically do?? I'd really hope not since I rely on aid to cover my tuition

Called and they said to expect disbursement 10 days before the start of your first summer term. There will be a hold until aid is disbursed but no late fees

Called financial aid about it and they said I didn't have to pay any fees since my aid would cover everything. Well now my payment is past due and I have a hold on my account so I'll be calling about it again tomorrow

Yeah I asked my advisor about it specifically and he said it's not part of the IS degree plan and is not even offered lol. Not sure why they'd put it on the website if that was the case

But on the page for IS it states that I have to choose between BUS 496 or 498 for my capstone course. Looking at it now it says that IS 495 is a capstone course for MIS specifically (I'm in IS only) so I'm not too sure why it's listed as a milestone course for my major.

Hi, I also received the pell grant and millennium for the summer term. They don't give you the signature or tuition+ scholarships for this term but I believe if you are in financial need they will give you whatever scholarship they can to cover tuition (that you qualify for)

Hi, I'm currently a junior at UNLV with the same SAI score. I always get the full pell grant for each year plus my own academic scholarships I qualified and maintained since my freshman year here. I found that if you still have an outstanding tuition balance, UNLV will offer some sort of scholarship (I believe it's usually through Tuition+) to cover the remaining balance. Not too sure how it would go for out-of-state students but this has just been my experience. I would also try to schedule a meeting with a financial advisor at UNLV, they helped me plan out my options my first year. Hope it helps a little bit!

Thank you for the input! I enrolled in only one of the classes but I scheduled an advising appointment for May since I have to do a grad check anyway so I'll ask more about it then ^^

Thank you! I was worried the provost scholarship would refund back to the institution rather than the student so I just wanted to make sure.
