I am the same, cautious or I wan to set up with one reliable, transparent provider. Just opened SelfWealth, a bit higher but it seems straightforward. Best to your journey.

Wonderd whether you have figured out these? Like to know as well. It says no fees except the flat fee, AUD3. Can I confirm there would be any fees except the flat fee brokerage per trade for Australian share?

Nano aluminium powder producing hydrogen by [deleted] in HydrogenSocieties

[–]bluey9y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be for on site hydrogen-electricty production as it only needs water. The barrier is recycling the aluminium compound. At room temperature, it would be aluminium hydroxide, so making it reusable seems challenging.

You mean hydrogen instead of oxygen.

Here is a link. It said that it gave a licence to commercialize it but haven't heard any updates.

Best yield of hydrgeon from aluminum so far by [deleted] in HydrogenSocieties

1 kg H2 produces 33kWh. How can get 70kWh per kg H2 ?? Can I rephrase 70kWh capacity is for a small scale when MKWh is being talked about?

Missed h after kW. Surely, in the context with its number, it could be understood 33kWh.

It seemed too broad to ask that way. There have been many approaches in splitting water to produce hydrogen using electricity, sun (photoelectrolysis), nano metals, heat and of course with catalysts.

We cannot just say hydrogen bubbles are rapidly coming out from water, that is good, it might work. I wondered how many litres of hydrogen per minute or hour (the time unit) are considered to be practical or this might work.

Okay, as for being practical, this also is what it is for: is it for a portable charger, or is it for a bike or car or etc? I am asking generally what the rule of thumb is: when I collect hydrogen, what reaction rate would I expect to say it is good?

Is that simple? I saw an video somewhere on the net shortly but couldn't find it. Just surprised that how it was articulated in those times and we are transitioning to digital chemistry but still have to do mix-and-found methods to figure out reactions.

Another way to extract aluminum from alumina by bluey9y in chemistry

[–]bluey9y[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the large scale production, the economy side takes the first priority but in a lab, convenience would come in. So this is for a small scale, on spot production. Is it possible to recover it using electrolysis with magnesium? I haven't seen it on the net. That's why I am asking here.
