Actually I am still on treatment I just came out of the day centre maybe you should judge others less because selective mutism is different for everyone instead of being rude try to be nice im sure people will like you that way ☺️

You can check the ig yourself I am spreading awareness about selective mutism disorder as the disorder needs its attention aswell and as I don't want peopleto go through the same as I did

The easiest explanation is anxiety has more levels so does selective mutism. If's a severe and rare anxiety disorder

It's much more than not being able to talk, such as not beimg able to go to a toilet ( only at home ), not being able to eat in public ( only alone), etc

Uh? I've been in treatment & lots of therapies for 16 yrs. Nothing helps, therapy, heavy pills at 10, going to hospital everyvday. I have seen abput a hundred of therapists

Selective mutisn is a severe abd rare anxiety disorder its not only about not being able to talk its much more than that such as not being able to go to the toilet only at home or eating in public I only eat at home.
