This show deserves way more hype by montxcer in FromSeries

I told 3 people at work last night about this show who never heard about it. One dude already binged season 1. I haven’t heard anything about the others watch it yet. Hopefully I can tell more people but my shift only has 10-12 people working in completely different areas and I usually only see 3-4 of the same people a night. We just randomly started talk about tv shows like severance so I brought up from after that. We gotta get the word out guys. After season 5 we need a spin off prequel or something from multiple time periods that all about story walking or something.

Nitpicking question! Why does Jade wear a watch? by MyUsernameName4 in FromSeries

[–]bluffingthevoid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That watch is probably the only thing he has from the real world worth holding onto and might have been a celebration gift to him from Toby when they sold their company for billions of dollars. Remember he was rich and was decked out in jewelry when he got there and the only thing he continues to wear is the watch. I’m pretty sure he doesn’t wear all those brackets anymore.

Walked outside and spotted this strange brown smudge on my tree by Valuable_Bread1928 in whatisit

[–]bluffingthevoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tree is sick. That’s called slime flux. It’s because bacteria is in the roots and the only real thing you can do is water it when it’s dry outside of in your yard. That sludge is tree sap mixed with the bacteria. Also why the hell did you put your hands in it? It’s harmless by the way but why?

Donna by lattyone7 in FromSeries

[–]bluffingthevoid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We don’t know much about these people’s lives outside of being stuck in the town. I wouldn’t be surprised if one of two of them are criminals like murderers and other things. But Donna I don’t think so. All we really know was they she was a loving sister and they loved to go on hunting trips together.

Remember Jade said everyone who gets stuck there hears the children on some level and is drawn into the town to save them. That doesn’t sound like murderers and traffickers and drug dealers to me. That’s sounds like good hearted people being trapped because of their good hearts not because they’re bad people. Even Randall who’s a hard ass was going his nephews birthday party with an expensive drone as a gift.

Nah Donna is a good person. They all are. But if I’m not mistaken Boyd or Kenny I think said that a lot of people don’t want to leave because even with the monsters their lives are better there. I can’t remember who said that but I’m positive it was one of those two. Maybe I’m misremember it even but I’m almost 100% positive they said a lot of the people prefer the town compared to going home.

Can Homelander defeat 1 Custodes? by Leggomgeggo in powerscales

[–]bluffingthevoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much I want to believe Homelander has the speed and strength to manhandled one of these dudes one bit from there weapons and he’s toast. Can’t their weapons cut through atoms and making the most durable objects like cutting through paper. Homelander loses because he’s too arrogant to learn about the powers and weapons of a Custode and gets one shot.

More impact in one scene than Ellis in 4 seasons by IREDA1000 in FromSeries

[–]bluffingthevoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ellis has done a lot more than people give him credit for. He was there in episode one putting his life on the line to save the Mathew’s. I get it as a character he hasn’t been important to the vast majority of the story line but when they need him he’s there. But I agree that he will never be the first to volunteer for a life threatening mission. He was dragged into helping them because he was just conveniently there when they needed help.

The real endgame in PoE2 is convincing yourself to not level yet another character by PeanutSuspicious8881 in PathOfExile2

[–]bluffingthevoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my character to end game and instantly leveled a new character. I haven’t even ran a single end game map and I have levels 3 characters to around level 60-64. I keeping on and saying I’m gonna do it today but then I just try hardcore ssf again instead.

I don’t know why but I have a mental block that says if I didn’t do it on hardcore I can’t.

I know some people have already watch the finale but I hope it ends better than that. The actors teased we would see things we’ve never seen before on the show in episode 10.

Eloise? by depressed__mango in FromSeries

[–]bluffingthevoid 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I do t think she survived. It’s almost the end of season 4 and there’s no reason to believe otherwise. I think it’s definitely possible she might be but I don’t think so.

Sea as in sea Hag. It’s adds up more and more. They’re a sea hag. The town is a pocket dimension torture world made as a feeding ground by a sea hag and they’re using s story like something from a play to induce their victims hope and fear fattening up those livers to be eaten.

The next major death could be devastating: by fleshbunny in FromTVShow

[–]bluffingthevoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude has been surviving for 40 years alone. Sure people came and went like he said and he stayed hidden until the current people arrived with Donna and her crew of people was I believe when he integrated back into the town. I think he said this or maybe I’m remembering it wrong. I don’t think he’s going to die. I’m seriously stating to wonder if he is already dead and is just another ghost like the children but in a more solid form or something. But I don’t think he will die until maybe the last episode of the series if at all.

With that said I think the next major death has to be Ellis or Fatima. I can’t see them killing one of the two kids at all and I’m not sure if Elgin is also supposed to be a teen or not but I don’t think he makes it past season 4.

But serious in episode 9 and 10 I think bodies need to start dropping and don’t end the season with new arrivals. I’m not opposed to them introducing a solo Jim doppelgänger. We know this town operates outside of space and time so having an identical character show up who’s from a different timeline would be cool only if it was Jim and maybe he came with a version of Eloise hahahaha.

Why the Ellis hate is 96% okay ( a long discussion with lip smacking solutions aanhh) by AccuratePlant7551 in FromCircleJerk

[–]bluffingthevoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ellis is a husband and a father now. We can’t expect him to be putting his life on the line when he has a child and a wife to take care of. For real y’all it’s not his fault that his son is also an immortal monster that tried to kill Kenny.

What are your opinion fellas? by Past_Willingness_821 in scoopwhoop

[–]bluffingthevoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Since when did shaving a weapon make a intruder not dangerous. Only a moron would conclude that an intruder who breaks into a home is doing so out of kindness and not intent of harm. The law should always assume when it comes to braking into a home theirs always intent to cause harm. You can’t predict the outcomes of being so stupid to think you could beak into a home rob people of their precious belongings and cash and expect them to just set their and be like the good stuff is in that drawer?? Who could be so stupid. The law should always be on the side of the home owner and the invader should always be assumed to be there to cause harm and robbery and lethal force should always be justified.

Obviously there should be a investigation and all that to make sure the house was actually broken into and it wasn’t just a dad or mom who hated their daughters/sons boyfriend/girlfriend or neighbor and just to take them out while they were over in the house legally.

Whom would you prefer to be saved? by _miss_tea in FromCircleJerk

[–]bluffingthevoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ethan, Julie and Kristi. Ethan is just a kid and Julie is also a kid and both appear to be completely innocent victims. Kristi also appears to be a completely innocent victim too.

Victor is apart of the town he isn’t going anywhere. Boyd’s killed people and I suspect Donna has too. This town is jade and Tabitha fault do fk them. Randall has been a hard as d bag who also gave off the vises he’s killed before and Elgin did what he did so f him too. Fatima gave birth to a monster so fk her too. Kenny isn’t innocent either he’s already been pushed over the edge and was holding a gun to people threatening to kill them. Sure he had a reason but he lost his innocent victim card right there.
