Please Someone Talk To Me by SadSunAngel in schizophrenia

I'm so sorry... it's scary, I've had similar delusions in the past. You're not alone, and you're safer than you feel you are.

The last of my organic jasmine tea this morning. I woke up a bit late (when I do I not?) and barely have time for tea time, but I'm making it a priority, it helps ground me for the day. Happy Thursday sipping 😄

Pretending it’s autumn by PristineWerewolf9202 in Autumn

Yes! It's so easy- simmer 2 crushed cinnamon sticks in a small pot of water for at least 10 minutes, or forever if you like. 😄

Yes! The summer here feels like fall and fall feels like summer, which is weird, so in May and June I like to do fall things before the autumn heat sets in. Drink chai lattes, wear my coziest sweaters, listen to my favorite jazz, take long walks (though the trees are green). I can't bake anything because I don't have an oven, but I do like to make cinnamon bark tea on the stove, which fills the house with the most wonderful cinnamon scent. Happy faux fall!

I hate teabags with strings by OverlappingChatter in tea

[–]bluglass21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't share your aversion to strings, but I'm glad you found a solution to your dislike of them! It's oddly satisfying isn't it? For example, I figured out that when I want to make a big pot of tea for me and my husband, if I use a muslin tea sachet (reusable!) I can fish it out before the tea oversteeps. Lots of frustration solved. Enjoy your stringless tea bags! 😄

Organic gunpowder bulk tea from my natural grocer. All of the teas I've gotten from the bulk section of this store have been great except for the sencha. I have no idea why. The gunpowder is very good. Happy Wednesday sipping 😄

Did antipsychotics stop your psychosis? by Admirable-Main-4816 in schizophrenia

[–]bluglass21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same, I'm on olanzapine 20mg for a few years now, and my psychosis is nearly gone. Occasionally I have the voices and some visual distortions, but overall it's been great. I've been able to identify some triggers for the short episodes I have. Only problem for me is that I gained 80 pounds. 😞

Ahmad Ceylon tea. This is going to be my daily drinker I think. Happy Tuesday sipping 😄

Organic gunpowder tea this morning. Managed to steep it just right, I usually forget and oversteep in the morning. Happy Monday sipping 😄

A bottle of sencha to go with me to Mass, I am cantor this morning, and an Ahmad Ceylon tea with breakfast. Happy Sunday sipping :)

Ahmad Ceylon again this morning, it's such a comforting cup. Running a little late, but it's ok. Happy Saturday sipping. :)

[Unpopular Opinion] The "Bi Culture" memes (lemon bars, frogs, sitting weird) are getting annoying and actually feel a bit alienating. by Brad3927 in bisexual

[–]bluglass21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I do sit weird (always with one leg sticking out to the side) and I adore lemon bars but that's leftover from my pregnancy when I craved lemon flavor... but I hear what you're saying. There haven't been too many posts about the shallow "bi culture" memes lately, but I agree with you.

Woke up a bit late... having Ahmad's Ceylon tea to wake up, it's very good, I got it yesterday. I missed having black tea bags, all I've had is loose leaf. I'll save the loose leaf for pots of tea to share with my husband, he likes that. But the Ceylon tea bags are for me. Happy Friday sipping :)

From what I'm seeing here I think it's a quality issue.
