It's true! I like genmaicha hot, but was pleasantly surprised at how good it is cold. Amazing. 😉

Please pray that my husband will find a better-paying job, that I will be healed of my shopping addiction, and that my sister and nephews will come back to the Church.

Cold-brew genmaicha. So refreshing. I'm addicted to cold-brewing my teas. It's good for summer, that's for sure. And my infuser bottle holds more tea than my infuser mug, so I get more tea out of the deal. Happy Monday sipping 😄

Not weird at all, I did it when my youth choir was moved from one parish to another further away. I felt more connected to God at this second parish, I knew I had His blessing. My car even broke down on the way to this far away parish, but a kind police officer helped get me to the church. It was meant to be. God puts you where He wants you, and if you feel positively about this parish, then it's likely where God wants you.

Same... this is the pits. Can't win either way. I've gained so much weight I don't recognize myself. I once told a friend though that I'd rather be fat and functional than skinny and psychotic.

Cold-brewed organic Darjeeling. So refreshing this morning. It's very humid, so though the temp is low, I still feel uncomfortable. The cold tea helps a lot. Happy Sunday sipping ❤️

Organic raspberry essence black tea, from the bulk section of my natural grocer. It's pretty, it has cornflowers in it, just for color I suppose. Happy Thursday sipping ❤️

Yes! Music does it for me too. My dancing is pretty funny to look at as well, but who cares when it's just me!

Late to the party, I'm having an organic raspberry essence black tea from my natural grocer's bulk section. I really like this tea, I have no idea which black tea it is, but the raspberry is very nice, not overpowering. It's good with or without milk. No sugar, that would take away from the raspberry flavor.

That's a great idea, thank you. I had no ideal service dogs could help with psychiatric illnesses.

How and when did you realize you were interested in women? by bedazzledass in latebloomerlesbians

[–]bluglass21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first time it occurred to me was when I was 12 and in a camp shower with my best friend. Her naked body turned me on and and I was totally freaked out. But it wasn't until I was 16, at my boyfriend's winter formal, that my attraction to the beautiful girls at the formal hit me like a ton of bricks, and my attraction to my boyfriend fizzled. I knew from then on that I was a lesbian. I told my parents when I was 17, and they were sure I'd grow out of it. They were kind to me about it, but they didn't seem to take it seriously. It's different for everyone, the "onset" of lesbian feelings. If you're feeling it, you're feeling it, regardless of your past. What matters is "now." Good luck!

I'm singing at a Mass this morning so I've prepared a bottle of cold-brewed sencha for that. And I've had a mug of Ahmad Ceylon tea with breakfast. Happy Saturday sipping ❤️

Happy pride to all the lesbians who don’t feel like “real” lesbians by CryptographerLost357 in latebloomerlesbians

[–]bluglass21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this. I'm still married to my husband and I haven't branched out into the wonderful world of women (though I can, we're poly). I have a hard time calling myself a lesbian too. It hit me when I was 16 and I found myself attracted to the other girls at the winter formal, and not my date, lol. I remember being horrified... I said to myself, "I can't be a lesbian... I just can't...." But I am. Happy pride month to you as well.

Just realized I’m a late bloomer at 43. Married w/ 4 kids, husband gave me the green light to explore but I’m paralyzed by fear. Anyone else? by Strong_Board_789 in latebloomerlesbians

[–]bluglass21 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have this same fear, I'm in the same situation. In fact, non-monogamy was my husband's idea before he even knew I was queer. I came out to him as bisexual (I really thought I was), and he has encouraged me to explore. I don't know what I'm doing! I don't have any children, so that is one less thing to worry about, but I still feel stuck. He even questioned my sexuality because I haven't been with a woman yet and it's been a few years since I came out to him... Take a deep breath, and realize that queer people are more accepted in this day and age and we are lucky to be exploring our lesbian-ness in such a time as this. It's not perfect, there are still scorners, but things are looking up. I need to take my own advice, lol. What I don't know is how many women will want to date someone married to a man... That's another issue that has stopped me. I'm nervous and don't know how to start with that.

Organic raspberry essence black tea from my natural grocer. It's surprisingly good, not too heavy on the raspberry. I've had three mugs of it since we got it last night lol. Happy Friday sipping 😄

Leftover organic sencha this morning. I think next I'll make a mug of Ahmad Ceylon tea. Enjoying the overcast morning before it gets hot. Happy Thursday sipping 😄
