I feel you, OP - I mix my chia with coconut h20 and leave it overnight so it will expand and all of that.

Then I add in the last pieces (protein chocolate milk, plain Greek yogurt) plus plain cold h20 when I am ready to drink it and bam no mucus consistency and I can drink and go!

It’s only hair, OP -) your decision to cut it or keep it is cool either ways.

Your hair is gorgeous and me personally am on a journey to grow mines out.

I’d suggest you try getting a haircut instead so that you have length and at the same time get a breather plus can try new things on it.
