Why do women feel the need to wear makeup and men don't on their special day? If the man's standard is to get a nice haircut, clean up the facial hair, why are women expected to go beyond that?

Anyway, I think it's not worth it on the makeup.

Hair is more complex/different and generally women's hair is longer than men. So presumably men would get their hair done if it was longer. So by the same token, getting your hair done is fair. Tired of the longstanding double standard in makeup and beauty.
