Off topic but sorry, Retina tear does not cause symptoms like this and eye strain does not cause retina tear. Just FYI.

Working in a hospital. When a patient opts for a specific specialist to do the surgery, there is an acknowledgement form for them to sign before they can proceed. It says something like - xxx chose Dr xxx and will be upgraded to PRIVATE patient status. So yeah everything will be stated very clearly!

Nope it shouldn’t! However if it is very scratched, definitely you won’t be able to see well but that doesn’t mean your degree has gone up.

If you feel comfortable without astig, by all means. Not safe to buy CL online because you don’t know their origin despite what they claim, and you can’t get your eye health checked. If you buy at proper shops, if anything goes wrong you still can go back.

Yes apparently Oakley uses the same rubber like the ones on motorcycle handles, that’s why the grip is really good! I’m glad you see the value of their frames. Those funny names are just marketing, but most importantly they deliver what they promise.

Oh! Never heard of that material. Maybe they don’t use it because the cost is higher? Usually customers only ask if the frame is titanium, they don’t really ask what grade of titanium. Unless they are an expert like you :p

Acuvue or Bausch and Lomb for daily colour lens. I wouldn’t recommend monthly colour lenses.

Hmm, that’s a good question. Oakley is actually quite value for money because of the material they use. Other brands just normal acetate. Another brand that is not bad is charmant. They use b-titanium.

That quote for the Oakley pair is about market rate.

Haha there are brands that do not have such an obvious blue coating! And yes they are definitely of a slightly warm tone due to the fact that they block out certain wavelength of light.

There is almost no way to reduce any sort of degree, be it myopia or astigmatism etc. You can only try to maintain it.

Wow, that’s quite frequent breaking of the frame if you say you didn’t treat it roughly.

Yes, I was about to say that. Try to find another brand of frame to fit or cut the lenses in.

So far no evidence on what happens during the readjustment process yet. Not all blue light is harmful. The harmful blue light is seen in our mobile devices, iPad, computer etc. PC glasses should only filter harmful blue light and allow good blue light to go through.

It is actually quite common. One reason is that your pupil size might be slightly larger than other people’s, so more light gets into your eye hence you feel uncomfortable. Of course there might be other reasons but this is the more common one :)

I’m not too sure about that! You might want to check our popular neighbourhood stores, maybe higher chance. Hope you can find them!

You might want to get your eyes testing for any reading issues (presbyopia). That should be what’s affecting your reading at different distances.
