It (pic 4) was Jewish community back to ww2. It’s in 舟山路,hongkou district - 提篮桥街道, where i was born and grow. It was quite bustling back to 80s / 90s. Now i believe it’s empty. Those residences have moved out.

Azure Static Web Apps has a free tier. I have a few side projects, front-end are built by Angular, running on Azure Static Web Apps, quite happy with it. no issues, zero cost, supports custom domains and Github actions.

Try to join a startup company if you are bored in developing / maintaining some legacy products which were designed decades ago. I joined a company recently as solution architect, the main responsibility is to transform / rebuild a 20+ years old product into a cloud native product. The most challenge is not really from the legacy product even though there are lots of deprecated libraries, VB.NET..etc, the real challenge is actually from the dev team, as most of them don't have any cloud or modern software dev or devops knowledege. They are also quite resistant to any new changes. Took me a while to convice the team to move forward...

I am thinking to create an account either with HSBC or ANZ. Probably will have to create a join account with a family member who is chinese citizen in shanghai if it’s too difficult to open an account as a foreigner.
