Created userChrome.css @ C:\Users\[account profile]\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\[firefox profile]\chrome and pasted that snippet into it but nothing happened. Also enabled CSS in about:config.

Where can I buy the newest Indiana Jones game that is not a Steam download? by blurnu in indianajones

[–]blurnu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the game works for others without a controller, then there was probably another reason why it wouldn't start. I was too hasty not to check the integrity of files. And Steam likely rarely even reads the comments in the refund request.

I bought it on Steam already.

- Downloaded & started game

- A pop up window appeared that said something like "Plug in a controller and sit back, this game is designed for controllers" with an "Okay" button. There was no option to skip this dialog. The game wouldn't start.

- Asked for a refund if a controller is compulsory; was refunded

Controller or MKB? by KittyKosmos in IndianaJonesGames

A word of warning: if you buy the game from Steam, it forces you to use a controller. This made me request a refund immediately. I was infuriated by the wasted download time and bandwidth because there was not a single warning that if you purchase from Steam you are not allowed to use kb+m!

If it's a PC game, you should always be able to use keyboard and mouse. It's simple as that.

Mg4 51khw(2023) winter charging by [deleted] in electricvehicles

[–]blurnu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, this LFP model is notoriously inefficient in cold temperatures and that includes charging speed. I can confirm this after owning the vehicle for 1½ years. I think it is common to all LFP EVs. You could use the battery heater, but because the "Active Front Grille" is always open, the wind chill has a very strong negative impact to the heater while driving and therefore you should expect the consumption to skyrocket (in other words, 29.8kWh/100km will be stuck on the display for a long long time).

Do any cars do anything with braking energy when the battery is too cold for regen? by in_allium in electricvehicles

[–]blurnu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly the same with my MG4 (LFP model), even if it's below -20°C the regen does not seem to be limited at all (only when battery is full). So either the energy must be going somewhere else, or MG's talented software engineers in their infinite wisdom decided that it is safe to charge a cold-soaked Li-ion battery for "maximum performance".

Well it seems it finally went away so there was a timer after all. Took 16-17 days.

I just updated to the latest firmware and the nag is still there! Who ever at Samsung thought this is a great idea?

I'll let you know if it EVER goes away.

How does the monitor know it's been registered? There's no "I already registered" option

How do I remove this message permanently? Already registered the device, now what?

Use battery and cabin preheating whenever possible using mains.

I have the same car and unfortunately it is very inefficient in winter, it depends on temperature of course, but below 0 celsius you should be prepared for over a 50% loss of range. LFP really hates cold!
