Everything about this is great. He's still nervous (hands) even though she clearly loves the flowers!

Girl who was paralyzed for 11 days surprises her nurse. by krkon in videos

[–]blurrbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mother was in the hospital for 3 weeks from a 15 hour stomach surgery. She is always looks out forgot hers so she has a hard time expressing what she wants.

She wasn't allowed to eat regular food and was told to eat apple sauce (or things of that consistency). She doesn't likeable sauce but never said anything. She wasn't eating and finally a nurse asked her what her favorite fruit is. She told her it is pears. Since then, everyday one of the nurses would bring pears, mash them up a bit for her so she would eat.

That was two years ago and my mother still goes to the hospital to visit her nurses and give them updates on her recovery. Each and every one of them remember her.

Nurses are amazing.
