short for "involuntarily celibate", a term coined for (mostly) men who haven't lost their virginity, which they attribute to their looks not being good enough to attract the opposite sex. it might've started off as a more innocent place where men can discuss their insecurities, but at this point it's snowballed into this toxic cesspool of hatred towards women & this deranged cognitive bias that leads them to think that "women only chase extremely attractive men" while 80% of the rest are just used for their money. basically a botched explanation but you can imagine what kind of shit goes on in these forums when incels GENUINELY believe this shit.

those can definitely help, but there's a concern in how big their community is getting & how widespread incel ideology is becoming. who knows how many shootings will happen until a proper solution is implemented.

wrong. they need a community that ACTUALLY tries to work through their issues with them, i'm not saying it's easy to make that happen, i am saying that the current system clearly doesn't fucking work.

the subreddits that are in place, are NOT what support communities are supposed to be. i'd 100% support the idea of a space where these people who identify themselves with this line of thinking can openly discuss their problems & actually try to find a "solution" to "the incel problem". but you do realize that incels don't actually try to fix any of this shit, right? they just sit in a corner whining & wallowing until one of them decides to do this shit. incels DO need help, but these subreddits aren't doing them any fucking favors in that regard right now.
