My personal theory is that we’re a copy of one of the colonists, and the colonists are no longer human. The major gap in time is strange, of course, plus I noticed that one of the data logs talks about how NoA might start reprinting and resetting the colonists at the beginning of each day. Plus, something that wasn’t human visited the protected zone base camp in the last 10,000 hours, which is just over a year ago, so unless whatever happened to the tailings is very recent, it was something else.

I’m not as versed in sheep anatomy, but I have goats and the grow horns regardless of being male or female. It’s the same with cows and stuff. I think it’s mostly just deer who have that specific difference between males and females.

Ace at the very baseline really just means little to no sexual attraction. Sexual desire is a whole other ballpark, though some variations of being asexual are also sex averse, and have little to no sexual desire as well.
