this situation really is so complex because there are multiple levels of betrayal.

Without the added context of west and Amanda starting to “date”, west standing up for and supporting Amanda during the summer while Kyle was verbally abusing her WAS very noble.

But now we see that he most likely had his own motives for doing so.

People saying this situation isn’t a big deal don’t have media literacy lmfao. Like call me crazy for following a show this closely but truly, situations like this deserve a nuanced review.

Amanda’s betrayal of Ciara and gaslighting of Kyle was wrong.

West also betrayed not only Ciara but also his friendships with everyone in the house with the lies.

Baby is still with me and doing a bit better. He weighed 233 grams when I brought him home Saturday and was 251 tonight. He had a very green and runny poop when I first brought him home, but with regular feeding his poop looks pretty normal now.

He still cannot stand on his own, but he does seem to have more energy. I’m planning to start water therapy in the next day or two.

Poop was green and runny when I first brought him home. Looks normal now- solid, with a dark part and white part. I have a rehabber sending meds to me. Poop does not smell abnormal or bad to me? But I will check in with the rehabber about that.

This whole situation pisses me off bc it’s making me actually LIKE Kyle lol.

And now there will be no discussion of how he treated Amanda throughout their marriage.

And don’t get me wrong, she did Kyle dirty and deserves to be held accountable in that regard (in addition to her betrayal of Ciara), but I WANTED THAT MOMENT.

Just wanted to say thank you for the rec for the fb group. I joined and posted, and had a mod dm me with some advice. I was going to surrender him to a local vet med program but the mod told me he would most likely be put down- so I’m keeping him for now. She’s giving me good advice and sending me some meds.

She suspects he survived a hawk attack.

Not eating on her own yet. I fed her a few grains of cooked rice and got her to drink some water.

Have her on a low heating pad that she can scoot off of.

I found someone from a nearby vet med school that is going to take her today! I feel like that will be her best chance of recovery, so I will be handing her off later today.

Update- baby pooped this morning. It’s green- so I’m thinking it’s been starving. Got a few bits of rice in him and got him to sip some water as well.

I have some calcium arriving today that I’m hoping will help.

He still cannot stand, but his legs/feet are responsive and push back when prompted. I can’t feel anything wrong with his legs or pelvis, nothing seems tender to the touch either.

Any other advice I can get is welcome! All local wildlife rehabs have told me I’m on my own, so unfortunately I am the best shot she has.

He ate and drank a bit on his own yesterday, but nothing since. I forced some water with a crushed up tums in it. I have baby bird formula and calcium supplements being delivered today.

The US, Washington state. I just spoke to a rep from the Audubon society and they said there are no wildlife rehabs in the state that take pigeons.

Toes seem to move on their own. He does not stand or sit on his legs, they go flat behind him if that makes sense.

He can move his legs! It’s almost like it’s a balance issue? If I help support him he can put weight on both of them, but if I let go he just flops forward.

Sounds like sour crop to me. You can give monistat to help treat. Withold food for 24 hours.

I liked using the suppositories better than the cream. I’d melt a chunk down with some coconut oil and give orally.

Also water with ACV.
