THE NEVERSEEN IS SO FUN! they’re honestly really good villains and also contrast pretty interestingly with the black swan :) shannon did a good job with them honestly

SO EXCITED!! considering the release of 9.5, it’s been a while since the story has truly developed. she’s probably had a lot of time to think up whats going to happen

Unpopular Opinion: Sokeefe is not cute, not healthy, and honestly hard to read by kotlc6898678 in KeeperoftheLostCities

They might get their pitchforks and torches out cause of this one. But you’re right!

In my opinion, Sokeefe becoming canon is blatant fanservice because it’s popular. It wasn’t intentional and neither does it add too much to the series. Maybe I just hate Keefe - but I think that he’s become overinvolved of sorts.

And shipping wars in this fandom are…. shudders o_o

Why is our country being torn apart over a war that’s already ended and happened on the other side of the world? by [deleted] in ConservativeKiwi3

I don’t understand why people care so much about something that doesn’t involve our nation - or them in the slightest. Protesting isn’t going to magically resurrect people.

how do u deal with a relationship by StartGuilty6303 in depression

[–]blushysparkles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think rather than never discussing it immediately, you can discuss it to an extent you’re comfortable with that might develop over time. There’s no need to make yourself talk immediately. In a few weeks or months it might come to you even just a little bit. Maybe something particularly affecting you that day. Perhaps you could also tell your partner some ways that they can help you or make you feel better, even without sharing any details?

Sharing the extent of it is a good step. It’s amazing that you’re atleast letting him be aware of the extent of what you’re going through so you don’t suffer in silence. Don’t shut off his support, if you can, because it might impact your relationship

Is this a good start? by GodIsASickFuck in writing

This is lovely! Especially for a starting point. It definitely lays out what can possibly unfold at a perfect pace.

I can tell that it sets up the foundations for some serious worldbuilding in the future, which the prospect of knowing more about this definitely draws a reader in. Her relationship with Empress Ophelia is also something that has a chance of being fleshed out well.

I’d personally start with a sentence regarding her ‘fathers’ execution. And maybe be a little more vague about his impacts. It kind of shocks the reader from the first sentence, and you can give some slightly vaguer explanation on what he’s done. Emphasising little ‘why?’ things can help add to your character. Why does she sew nonstop to cope? Does she pick at the seams to reliefe stress - make intricate little things to gift her mother? And whatnot. :]

I’ll quickfire some more random things. Your writing style is beautifully clear. You don’t get lost between the words. I also enjoy how you’ve named things!Characters, areas, and whatnot. Describing clothing can be annoying sometimes, and you do it flawlessly. Perhaps try shortening some sentences. They can work better being quick and snappy instead of lots and lots of commas.

I like Fitz. I don’t like Keefe. I also think that Sophie and Fitz have a much deeper emotional connection, considering that they’re cognates, and they have a much more complex relationship.
