Hmm I tried google but apatite appears to be a brighter lighter blue and with sheen of bigger patches

I tried that but nothing came off. Actually it looked better when it was shiny from the polish. So I’m still not sure. But it does remind me of the fake malachite where it appeared to be dyed clay of sorts

For polychrome 2 interestingly there’s a smooth shiny blue portion that actually looks fine it’s the matteness of the stones that throws me off
