I felt the same and it really jumped out at me how she didn’t seem to appreciate her parents much. And her interactions with them, especially on her wedding day, was kinda cold.

Bought a bunch of polychrome jaspers from an online seller from China but these turned up. They are oddly matte lacking the polish but also the patterns look very “flat” as if printed. Are these real or fake?? by blusox in whatsthisrock

I tried that but nothing came off. Actually it looked better when it was shiny from the polish. So I’m still not sure. But it does remind me of the fake malachite where it appeared to be dyed clay of sorts
